    摘要： In one embodiment, a method is presented for determining which downloadable applets are exposed to a user of a computer when the computer is connected to a network. Included are the steps of detecting a change in the topology of a network, requesting from a router device topology information for the network, comparing the topology information against a requirements list associated with an application executing on the computing device, where the requirements list delineates at least one of a capability and a service necessary for the application to operate properly within a network, and determining whether the application is supported by the topology of the smart home network. If the application is supported, then the application is exposed, unless the application is not permitted to operate within the network. If the application is not supported or not permitted to operate within the network, then the application is not exposed.

    摘要： A retractable leash light has a light housing; and a handle formed on the light housing for handgrip. The light has an LED element and a switch. The light is connected to an electric circuit. A crank mechanism is mounted on the light housing, and the crank mechanism has a knob pivotally mounted to a crank arm of the crank mechanism. The crank mechanism also has a crank wheel mechanically connected to the crank arm of the crank mechanism. A generator is connected to the crank wheel. Rotation of the crank wheel powers the generator to generate electricity output from the generator. The generator is connected to the electric circuit for powering the electric circuit. A leash is mounted on a leash spool. The leash spool is mounted within the light housing. The leash is retractable into the light housing and extendable from the light housing.

    摘要： A composite sparger for use in elevated temperature and corrosive environments. The composite sparger is formed from a thermally conductive non-combustible metal substrate. The surfaces of the conductive non-combustible metal exposed to the reactor environment are protected with a corrosion resistant layer. The corrosion resistant layer protects the substrate material from the corrosive environment of the reactor vessel and the substrate material conducts heat away from the corrosion resistant layer to prevent combustion of the corrosion resistant layer. The substrate material and corrosion resistant material may be selected so as to provide for sufficient thermal conduction to prevent combustion of the corrosion resistant material.
