Abstract: An industrial robot having a manipulator and a robot controller configured to control the motions of the manipulator. The robot controller is configured during lead-through programming of the robot to compare a robot position or a robot orientation (TCP) with at least one virtual position or virtual orientation defined in space, and to actively control the motions of the robot in relation to the at least one virtual position or virtual orientation when the difference between the robot position or robot orientation and the least one virtual position or virtual orientation is smaller than an offset value.

Abstract: A method for inspecting a solar panel of a solar power station is performed in a controller for an unmanned aerial vehicle, UAV, and includes the steps of: receiving an inspection request for a subset of the solar panels navigating, in a first stage, using radio signals, the UAV to an initial location in a vicinity of a particular solar panel of the subset of solar panels; positioning, in a second stage, the UAV using at least one near field sensor of the UAV; and capturing, using the infrared camera, an image of the particular solar panel.

Abstract: A method, computer program product and video communication device are provided for transmitting video to a remote user. The video communication device includes a communication interface for providing a communication session with a device of the remote user, a camera capturing images, and a control unit configured to obtain a three-dimensional model of the location, control the camera to capture video images of the location, determine a current orientation of the video communication device, and transfer the three-dimensional model and orientation to the device of the remote user together with a video stream from the camera comprising the captured video images.

Abstract: An area of robotic control, and in particular to managing a system configuration of a robot controller. According to a first aspect, the disclosure relates to a method for managing a system configuration of a robot controller configured to control operation of a robot. The method includes capturing S1 a snapshot of the robot controller, the snapshot including a current system configuration of the robot controller and storing S2 the captured snapshot in the backup archive. The method further includes generating S3, on the display representing one or more snapshots stored in the backup archive presented in chronological order and upon receiving S4, from the input device, user input selecting one of the displayed elements, retrieving S5, from the backup archive information corresponding to the snapshot represented by the selected element, and providing S6 the retrieved system configuration. The method also relates to a corresponding control system.
