    摘要: In a method for operating a conditional access system for broadcast applications, the conditional access system comprising a number of subscribers and each subscriber having a terminal including a conditional access module and a secure device for storing entitlements, a source signal is encrypted using a first key (CW). The encrypted source signal is broadcasted for receipt by the terminals, wherein entitlement control messages (ECM's) are sent to the secure devices, the ECM's comprising the first keys (CW) encrypted using a service key (PT). Entitlement management messages (EMM's) are sent to the secure devices providing the service key (PT) required to decrypt encrypted first keys (CW). A cracked secure device which is used in an unauthorized manner is traced by sending different keys required to obtain the first keys to different terminals or groups of terminals and monitoring the key information provided by a pirate. To this end search EMM's are sent to at least a part of the terminals, the search EMM's providing at least the service key (PT) and a dummy key (PD1 or PD2). At least the search EMM's comprise identifiers identifying the keys (PT and PD1 or PD2), wherein first search EMM's with the keys (PT and PD1) are sent to a first part of the terminals and second search EMM's with the keys (PT and PD2) are sent to a second part of the terminals An ECM identifying the service key (PT) to be used to decrypt the encrypted first key (CW), is sent to all secure devices just before the first key (CW) is needed to decrypt the source signal.

    摘要: A method and a system for forming an image of a scene are provided. The method includes capturing an image of the scene by exposing an image sensor to radiation from one part of the EM spectrum using one aperture and to radiation from another part of the EM spectrum using another aperture having a different size than the first aperture. Simultaneously with capturing the image, the scene is illuminated with radiation from the second part of the EM spectrum. The image is then formed on the basis of image data generated by the radiation from the first part of the EM spectrum and image data generated by radiation from the second part of the EM spectrum.

The spatial resolutions of at least two of the captured image frames are set to different values.

    摘要: The invention provides for a solution enabling obtaining a control word in the client. The client device has a unique binary identification. An input transformed control word is mapped from an input transform domain to an output transform domain to thereby obtain an output transformed control word by successively applying a transformation function to the input transformed control word using each compound of seeds from the set successively as an input to the successive transformation functions. Each of the successive transformation functions is one of a regular transformation function, a first special transformation function and a second special transformation function. The obtained control word can be used to decrypt one of two copies of a part of content data. The copy that can be decrypted contains a watermark representing either a binary “0” or a binary “1” and represents a bit of the unique binary identification of the client device.

    摘要: Image fusion based on a modified method of frame averaging for noise removal by partly averaging over images having a smaller resolution than the desired resolution of the de-noised image. The set of images which are summed for averaging out noise consists of two subsets. The first set of images has a resolution (in terms of number of pixels) being smaller than the resolution of the images in the second set. The resolution of the images in the second set is the resolution of the “high-definition” de-noised output image. The lower resolution images are up-sampled by scaling their pixel numbers to that desired output image. The gradation of the first set images is also adapted to avoid intensity saturation (flare) due to summation. Image fusing is also done in fourier space using the high frequency components from the higher resolution images and the lower ones from the lower resolution images.
