摘要： Systems, methods, and apparatuses are provided for creating and providing reminders that involve an activity states of an application on a device. An activity state can correspond to a particular view within an application, e.g., a view that was reached after several inputs from a user. A user can provide a specification of an activity state in a variety of ways, e.g., providing a reminder command while the application is executing in the foreground with the desired activity state or by voice commands that specify the activity state. A user can provide one or more trigger criteria. Once the reminder is triggered, the specified activity state can be provided to the user.

摘要： A method and device for providing a reminder to a user of a mobile device are provided. A location of the mobile device is monitored to identify whether the first geographical area is triggered by the mobile device crossing a first boundary of the first geographical area. After the mobile device crosses the first boundary the first location-based reminder is identified and a state of the mobile device is determined. The first location-based reminder can be provided to the user when an opportune event occurs.

摘要： A method of providing travel updates for an event stored in a calendar application of a device is provided. The method receives the location and the starting time of the event from the calendar application at a navigation application of the device. The method determines an estimated travel time from the current location of the device to the location of the event. The method determines a time for timely departure to the event based on the estimated travel time. The method provides several travel updates that include the time for timely departure to the calendar application. The travel updates are utilized by the calendar application to provide a set of alerts regarding the time for the timely departure to the event.

摘要： Events that are described in either structured data (e.g. HTML web page or email) or text in a natural language description can be extracted and entered into one or more calendars on a user's device. In one embodiment, selecting an add event command in a calendar application can cause the calendar application to search, without having received any search input, in a database of extracted events, and events extracted within a predetermined period of time can be suggested as events to add to the calendar. In one embodiment, an extracted event can cause a notification to be displayed to a user. Other embodiments are also described herein.

Each reminder option corresponds to a different category of reminders, and a first reminder option of the reminder options corresponds to a connection state of the mobile device with a processor of a vehicle. A selection of the first reminder option for the reminder is received. An indication of a transition that is to trigger the reminder is also received. The transition corresponds to the mobile device establishing a wireless connection to a processor of the vehicle or the mobile device disconnecting from the vehicle processor. Content for the reminder is received. In response to detecting the transition between the mobile device and the processor of the vehicle, the content of the reminder is provided to the user.

摘要： A method and device for providing a reminder to a user of a mobile device are provided. The method includes receiving a request to establish a first geographical area for the mobile device for triggering a first location-based reminder, the request including a flag indicating that other sensor information is to be used to determine when to provide the first location-based reminder to the user. A location of the mobile device is monitored to identify whether the first geographical area is triggered by the mobile device crossing a first boundary of the first geographical area. After the mobile device crosses the first boundary the first location-based reminder is identified and a state of the mobile device is determined. The first location-based reminder is provided to the user based on the state of the mobile device being included in a list of trigger states.
