Abstract: A medical device includes a handle, a shaft, an electrode, and at least one inflatable balloon. The handle includes an electrical connection and a balloon fluid port. The shaft extends from a distal portion of the handle. The electrode is positioned at a distal end of the shaft. The electrode is electrically connected to the electrical connection via one or more conductive elements extending through the handle and the shaft. The at least one inflatable balloon is positioned on a portion of shaft. The at least one inflatable balloon is fluidly coupled to the balloon fluid port via one or more tubes extending through the handle and the shaft.

Abstract: An ostomy bag device includes a bag with first and second chambers communicating via a first opening and a pressure sensitive interface. The bag includes a second opening interfacing with a stoma exit and receiving waste in the first chamber, a third opening expelling the waste from the first chamber, and a fourth opening releasing gas from the second chamber. The interface transitions from a first state in which the interface prevents a gas flow through the first opening from the first to second chambers and a second state in which the interface allows the flow. A first pressure differential in the first chamber relative to the second chamber causes the interface to assume the first state preventing the flow and a second pressure differential in the first chamber relative to the second chamber higher than the first differential causes the interface to assume the second state allowing the flow.

Abstract: A medical system may include a fluid source, a fluid reservoir, and a valve. The valve may be coupled to the fluid source and the fluid reservoir so as to permit fluid flow between the fluid source and the fluid reservoir. The valve may include a first opening configured to receive a medical instrument. Upon insertion of the medical instrument into the first opening of the valve, the medical instrument may be lubricated with a fluid from the fluid source.
