    摘要: A lithium secondary battery having a winding-type electrode assembly and a case accommodating the electrode assembly, and a method of manufacturing thereof. In the lithium secondary battery, ion-conductive polymer is contained in at least one of a hollow portion of the electrode assembly and an inner space of the case other than the hollow portion. The hollow portion and/or the inner space of the case of the electrode assembly is filled with ion-conductive polymer which can consume the heat generated in the battery and which is changed into a gel-state by an electrolytic solution, to dissipate the heat generated in the battery. Accordingly, the explosion of the battery can be suppressed, thereby preventing the reliability and safety of the battery from lowering.

    摘要: A method, apparatus, and system for encoding or decoding a broadband voice signal are provided. The method includes extracting a linear prediction coefficient (LPC) from the broadband voice signal; outputting a linear prediction (LP) residual signal; pitch-searching a spectrum of the LP residual signal; extracting spectral magnitudes and phases of the LP residual signal, which correspond to a damping factor; obtaining, from among the extracted spectral magnitudes and phases, a first spectral magnitude and a first phase at which a power value of the LP residual signal is minimized; quantizing the first spectral magnitude and the first phase; and decoding the broadband voice signal. The apparatus includes a linear prediction coefficient (LPC) analyzer; an LPC inverse filter; a pitch searching unit; a sinusoidal analyzer; and a phase and spectral magnitude quantizer. The system includes a broadband voice encoding apparatus and a broadband voice decoding apparatus.

    摘要: A method of making a liquid crystal display having a display region and a non-display region, the method comprises forming a thin film transistor (“TFT”) having a drain electrode on an insulating substrate, forming an inorganic layer and an organic insulating layer sequentially on the TFT, forming an organic insulating layer pattern, by patterning the organic insulating layer, comprising a first organic layer hole to expose the inorganic layer on the drain electrode and a second organic layer hole formed along a circumference of the display region where the organic insulating layer is partially removed, removing the inorganic layer exposed through the first organic layer hole and the organic insulating layer remaining in the second organic layer hole, and forming a sealant in the second organic hole. The present invention thus provides a method of making an LCD to prevent a color filter substrate separating from a TFT substrate using fewer masks.
