    Abstract: A multiple access point system includes a wireless network including a first channel and a second channel. The system further includes a first access point and a second access point co-located within a single physical location environment, a wireless backhaul connecting the first and second access points to the wireless network, and a processor configured to (i) assign the first channel as a primary channel of the first access point and the second channel as a primary channel of the second access point, and (ii) assign the first channel as a secondary channel of the second access point and the second channel as a secondary channel of the second access point. The primary channel of the first access point does not overlap with the primary channel of the second access point, and the secondary channel of the second access point overlaps with the first access point.

    Abstract: A method for automatically determining a location characteristic of a wireless access point includes (1) receiving, via an array of at least three antenna elements of the wireless access point, a first neighboring wireless communication signal from a first neighboring wireless access point, (2) determining a location of the first neighboring wireless access point, and (3) determining the location characteristic of the wireless access point at least partially based on (a) the location of the first neighboring wireless access point and (b) difference in phase of the first neighboring wireless communication signal between the least three antenna elements of the wireless access point.

    Abstract: Systems and methods enhance handling, within an access point (AP) of a local area network, of content from a content provider. A content session core of the AP opens a session with the content provider and allows interaction between a user of a first end device and the content provider via the session. Content from the content provider is received at the content session core and forwarded for play on the first end device. The content session core may mirror the content to a second real end device without requiring an additional session with the content provider, and may switch play of the content from the first to the second end devices without disconnecting the session with the content provider. A wireless LAN controller enhances a connectivity experience of a mobile device by determining its location and predicting when to handoff connectivity between wireless APs of the LAN.

    Abstract: A system for micro-segmented networking is provided. A system controller is programmed to a) store a plurality of micro-segmented network accounts and a plurality of subscriber accounts, b) receive a request from a user device to activate a first micro-segmented network associated with a first subscriber account, c) authenticate the first subscriber account based on the subscriber information, d) activate the first micro-segmented network, including a plurality of device slots for a plurality of devices, e) transmit, to the user device, first device slot authentication information for a first device slot of the plurality of device slots; f) receive, from a first device connecting to the wireless network, the first device slot authentication information; g) authenticate the first device slot authentication information; and h) in response to authenticating the first device slot authentication information, connect the first device to the first micro-segmented network.
