Abstract:
A tire insert attachment apparatus includes a pin attached to a first part of the insert and extending into a second part of the insert to engage an actuator that draws the bolt into the second part. The actuator includes a tool engagement head that transmits rotational motion of a tool to a translator via a converter, the converter transforming the rotational motion of the head into linear motion imparted on the translator. The translator can be a rack and pinion setup or can be a thread arrangement. Preferably, the head rotates a worm, which rotates a pinion that has threads formed on an inner surface and engaging mating threads on the pin, the pin taking the form of a bolt, such as an eyebolt.
Abstract:
A dynamic imbalanced force generator includes a pair of eccentric masses and a shaft frame. The generator further includes at least one support plate of a motor arranged radially with respect to the shaft frame, and a gear system. A second imbalance is arranged between a first imbalance and the shaft frame, and coaxially with respect to the first imbalance. At least one motor is supported by the plate and engaged with at least one of the first and second imbalances by the gear system. The support plate and the motor are arranged between the imbalances and the shaft frame.
Abstract:
A supercapacitor cell is provided having unit cells arranged in series and encapsulated in a flexible and leak-tight packaging, and a supercapacitor module having at least one stack of several of these cells. The cell includes n unit cells (n≧2) arranged side by side in series and encapsulated in the packaging, each unit cell having two upper and lower electrodes, a membrane separating them and an ionic electrolyte, the cell having inside of the packaging a plurality of current collectors, two upper and lower collector parts of which respectively cover the upper and lower electrodes. A pair of adjacent unit cells is covered with an upper or lower collector common to this pair, two truncated upper and/or lower collectors formed at two ends of the cell, two adjacent collectors respectively terminated by facing edge sections electrically insulated from one another by an insulating adhesive material covering them.
