摘要: A fiber management tray (10) is disclosed. The fiber management tray (10) can have a body (12) including a bottom wall (14) with side walls (16) extending outwardly from the bottom wall (14). The fiber management tray (10) can include a termination region (18) that has a first side (24) and a second side (26). The termination region (18) includes a termination panel (13) that holds connectors (20). The fiber management tray (10) can include a hinge area (56) for mounting said tray (10) to a tray tower (58) and a storage basket (32) located between the termination region (18) and the hinge area (56). The storage basket (32) can include a first pocket (44) that communicates with the second side (26) of the termination region (18) and an opposite second pocket (48) that communicates with the first side (24) of the termination region (18). The fiber management tray (10) can define at least one fiber routing path on each of the first and second pockets (44, 48) of the storage basket (32). The fiber management tray (10) can define a fiber transition opening (54) for transitioning optical fibers between the second pocket (48) of the storage basket (32) and first side (24) of the termination region (18). The fiber transition opening (54) can have an access structure for allowing optical fibers to be inserted into the fiber transition opening (54).

摘要: A clamp assembly includes a first clamp half-piece and a second clamp half-piece. In one example, the clamp half-pieces are identically shaped. In one example, each of the clamp half-pieces has at least one integral pin and at least one aperture. The first and second clamp half-pieces are pivotally connected to each other via a first snap-fit interface in which the integral pin of the first clamp half-piece snap-fits into the at least one aperture of the second clamp half-piece. The clamp assembly can also include a link arm connected to the first clamp half-piece via a second snap-fit interface. A lever arm can also be included that is pivotally connected to the link arm via a third snap-fit interface. The clamp assembly does not require separate link pins or other parts and only includes four components: the clamp half-pieces, the link arm, and the lever arm.

摘要: Aspects and techniques of the present disclosure relate to a cable sealing structure comprising a cable sealing body including a gel and methods of making anisotropic behavior in cable sealing structures made with a dry silicone gel. In one aspect, various three-dimensional printing techniques are used to make a cable sealing structure that includes a gel. The cable sealing body has a construction that elastically deforms to apply an elastic spring load to the gel. The cable sealing body has a construction with anisotropic deformation characteristics that allows the cable sealing body to be less deformable in one direction than in others. The cable sealing structure can be utilized to seal fiber optic cables more uniformly while limiting the potential of leakage.
