    Abstract: A fuel injection valve includes: a coil; a stationary core to generate a magnetic force; a movable structure including a moving core and a valve body and internally having a movable flow passage; and a body that internally accommodates the movable structure and internally has a part of the flow passage. The movable structure includes a throttle portion at which a passage area of the movable flow passage is partially throttled. The flow passage includes a throttle flow passage defined by the throttle portion and a separate flow passage between the movable structure and the body. A passage area of the separate flow passage is smaller than a passage area of the throttle flow passage. A position of the separate flow passage in a direction perpendicular to a moving direction of the movable structure is different from an outermost peripheral position of the moving core.

    Abstract: A fuel injection control device includes an additional energization unit. Concerning an undershoot state caused by a first energization for fuel injection, a return period is an estimated period required for a movable core to return to an initial position from a first energization. An injection interval ranges from the first energization to a second energization that is for a next fuel injection. An allowable period is obtained by subtracting a rise period estimated for the second energization from the return period. The additional energization unit adds an additional energization between the first energization and the second energization when the injection interval is longer than or equal to the allowable period and is shorter than or equal to the return period.

    Abstract: An injection hole body has an injection hole to inject fuel for causing combustion in an internal combustion engine. A valve body is unseated from and seated on a seating surface of the injection hole body. The injection hole body and the valve body form a fuel passage therebetween to communicate with an inflow port of the injection hole. The fuel passage is opened and closed by unseating and seating of the valve body. A resilient member generates a resilient force to urge the valve body toward the seating surface. A seat angle is an angle between two straight lines appearing in a cross section of the seating surface, the cross section including a center axis of the valve body. The seat angle is 90 degrees or less.

    Abstract: An electric power converter has a semiconductor stacked unit, auxiliary electronic components, a pressing member, and a case for accommodating these components. The case has a front wall in a stacking direction, a rear wall, a pair of side walls, and inner walls. The inner walls include a partition wall that is disposed opposing the front wall, and a support wall that is formed so as to extend toward the rear wall from a rear end surface of the partition wall. A unit accommodation space for accommodating the semiconductor stacked unit and the pressing member is formed between the partition wall and the front wall. Auxiliary accommodation spaces for accommodating the auxiliary electronic components are formed between the partition wall and the rear wall.
