Abstract: A valve device includes a housing, a valve member, a valve seat member, a fixing member for fixing the valve seat member to the housing, and a housing-side seal portion. The housing has a valve chamber, and a housing-space inner wall forming a housing space communicating with the valve chamber. The housing-side seal portion blocks a flow of fluid between the valve seat member and the housing-space inner wall. The valve seat member has a tubular portion and a flange portion connected to the tubular portion. The flange portion is interposed between a facing surface of the housing-space inner wall and the fixing member in an axial direction. The fixing member is fixed to the housing-space inner wall in an airtight state. The housing-side seal portion is made of a rubber material and is interposed between the flange portion and the fixing member.

Abstract: A valve device includes a shaft, a valve body, and a housing including a valve opening. An outwardly facing surface of the valve body is out of contact with the housing and a valve-facing surface is in contact with the housing in a fully closed state in which the valve body closes the valve opening. A valve seal surface includes a first valve seal surface protruding in a valve closing direction and a second valve seal surface recessed in a valve opening direction. A first seal distance in a radial direction from an outer diameter end of the first valve seal surface to a rotation axis is shorter than a second seal distance in the radial direction from an outer diameter end of the second valve seal surface to the rotation axis. The first valve seal surface and the second valve seal surface each have at least a curved surface.

Abstract: A valve device increases or decreases a flow rate of EGR gas. The valve device includes a housing, a bypass valve body, an EGR valve body. The valve member includes a valve-member-side seal portion, which blocks communication between the intake passage and the EGR passage when the valve-member-side seal portion contacts the valve-housing-side seal portion. The rotation of the valve member is limited when the contact portion contacts the limiter portion.
