    Abstract: An interference mitigation system is provided herein. The interference mitigation system selects a threshold power range for signals received by at least one antenna and compares a power level of a signal to the threshold power range. Based on a determination of whether the power level of the first signal exceeds the threshold power range, the interference mitigation system identifies nodes that transmit or receive wireless signals and causes the nodes to stop transmitting or receiving signals for a selected duration of time. The interference mitigation system receives additional signals during the selected duration of time, and determines whether the first signal caused internal interference or external interference based on the additional signals and the first signal. The interference mitigation system causes the interference to be resolved based on the determination of whether the interference is internal interference or external interference.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for cell sleep state detection and recovery are provided. In the method and apparatus, an Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) network entity evaluates one or more network traffic criteria indicative of whether a cell is in a sleep state to determine whether the one or more network traffic criteria are met. The one or more network traffic criteria are selected from a interface data rate criterion, a tunnel identity criterion, a bearer criterion, a software package criterion or a configuration change criterion. The network entity determines whether the cell is in the sleep state based on whether at least one of the one or more network traffic criteria are met and in response to determining that the cell is in the sleep state, causes the cell to exit the sleep state.

    Abstract: Techniques for wireless network infrastructure software package validation based on transport channel indicators are provided. A NodeB has transport channels connecting a core network, central unit, distributed unit and radio unit. A computer system receives data representing pre-installation transport indicators of a transport channel determined when a network entity of the NodeB is operated using a first software package and receives data representing post-installation transport indicators of the transport channel determined when the network entity is operated using a second software package. The computer system compares post-installation and pre-installation transport indicators to determine a comparison result of a plurality of comparison results, determines whether to validate the second software package based on the comparison results and in response to determining to validate the second software package, sends a signal to the NodeB indicating validation. The NodeB causes the second software package to be installed on the network entity.

    Abstract: Various arrangements for dynamically adjusting physical resource block (PRB) usage on a cellular network are presented. An entity may be determined to be exercising its priority to spectrum overlapping PRBs used by the cellular network. A frequency band being used by the entity based on measuring the signal strengths of wireless transmission by the entity can be determined. Subcarriers of the PRBs are identified that overlap the frequency band. A predefined Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) format can be selected based at least in part on the identified subcarriers. A predefined Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) format can be selected based at least in part on the identified plurality of subcarriers.

    Abstract: Techniques for wireless network infrastructure software package validation are provided. A NodeB includes a network entity that is a central unit, a distributed unit or a radio unit. A computer system receives data representing pre-installation performance indicators determined when the network entity is operated using a first software package and data representing post-installation performance indicators determined when the network entity is operated using a second software package. For a performance indicator type, the computer system compares post-installation and pre-installation performance indicators to determine a comparison result of a plurality of comparison results, determines whether to validate the second software package based on the comparison results and in response to determining to validate the second software package, sends a signal to the NodeB indicating that the second software package is validated. The NodeB causes the second software package to be installed on the network entity.

    Abstract: Techniques for dynamically reducing cell site component power consumption are disclosed. A load associated with an antenna of a cell site of a cellular network is determined. The load is compared to a predetermined threshold. Whether the load is below the predetermined threshold is determined. In response to the load being determined to be below the predetermined threshold, electrical power for the antenna is reduced. in response to the load being determined to be above the predetermined threshold, electrical power for the antenna is maintained. Reducing the electrical power for the antenna may include turning off a power amplifier for the antenna, turning off an antenna port of a radio unit that communicates with the antenna or an antenna port thereof, etc.

    Abstract: An interference mitigation system is provided herein.
