Abstract: A system for processing a biological fluid that includes a bioreactor, wherein the bioreactor includes a window, at least one port for allowing delivery of a processing aid; a control system, a sensor; a transmitter for transmitting the signal; a signal converter; a controller for receiving the signal; and a valve for delivering the processing aid to the port, wherein the sensor senses a process condition, transmits the signal, and the signal is compared with a reference signal and wherein a process action is optionally taken based on the comparison.
