    Abstract: Multidirectional vent limiting devices for use with fluid regulators are described. An example vent limiting device includes a housing having an interior surface, a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a first fluid passageway in fluid communication with and located between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. The interior surface includes a first sealing surface that defines a portion of the first fluid passageway. The vent limiting device further includes a stem having a first end, a second end located opposite the first end, and an axial portion located between the first end and the second end. The vent limiting device further includes a poppet having a first end, a second end located opposite the first end, a second sealing surface that defines a portion of the first fluid passageway, and a bore that defines a second fluid passageway in fluid communication with and located between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. The first end of the stem is rigidly coupled to the poppet. The poppet is slidable in an axial direction within the housing between an open position and a closed position. The second sealing surface contacts the first sealing surface when the poppet is in the closed position to close off the first fluid passageway.

    Abstract: A fluid regulating device includes a valve having an inlet and an outlet and an actuator coupled to the valve and having a control assembly. The control assembly includes a control element and a diaphragm operably connected to the control element, the control element disposed within the valve and adapted to be displaced relative to a valve seat. A noise attenuation assembly is coupled to the outlet of the valve and includes a cylindrical body and at least one plate disposed in the cylindrical body, the at least one plate having an outer edge. An apparatus for retaining the noise attenuation assembly includes a plurality of rods coupled to the at least one plate. The plurality of rods includes at least one rod having a first end disposed through the outer edge of the at least one plate to support the noise attenuation assembly.

    Abstract: Noise attenuation apparatus for pressure regulators are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a first noise attenuator disposed at a first position in a fluid passageway of a pressure regulator and a second noise attenuator disposed at a second position in the fluid passageway. The second position is spaced apart from the first position along the fluid passageway.
