    摘要: A pressure regulating system that is suited to regulate the pressure of a gas includes a regulating device suited to regulate the pressure of a first gas stream, provided with an inlet for the gas at a supply pressure and with an outlet for the gas at a regulated pressure that is lower than the supply pressure; a vortex tube suited to receive a gas stream through an inlet, separate it into a hot portion and a cold portion and deliver the hot and cold portions through corresponding outlets; a heat exchanger coupled with the vortex tube in order to heat the first gas stream before it flows into the regulating device; a recovery duct suited to collect a first portion of the first gas stream at a collection point located downstream of the heat exchanger and to convey it to the inlet of the vortex tube.

    摘要: A cold start valve for a hydraulic circuit has a valve slide with two counteracting control faces. It is possible to load a first control face with a control pressure and to load a second control face with a feed pressure.     摘要: A gas pressure regulator for use with gas delivery systems is provided. The gas pressure regulator includes, in one form, an inlet with an entry portion and a bottom portion. A pocket is disposed proximate the bottom portion of the inlet, and a cavity is disposed within a central portion of the gas pressure regulator. A guide is disposed within a lower portion of the cavity, and a flow of gas through the gas pressure regulator extends through the inlet, changes direction to flow through the cavity, and the flow of gas changes direction to impact the guide prior to flowing through the cavity. The pocket and the guide reduce the amount of particles capable of reaching internal components of the gas pressure regulator, resulting in low sensitivity and high fault tolerance to ignited particles coming through the gas pressure regulator in the event of accidental particle contamination.

    摘要: A regulator for maintaining a constant partial vacuum in a region, such as in a piece of process equipment or a fume hood. The regulator includes a path, through which fluid passes from the region to the vacuum source, and a movably mounted piston having a frontal face, which is exposed to fluid in the path, and a distal face, which is exposed to a reference pressure, such as the pressure of the environment in which the equipment is located. The piston is disposed in the path so that the piston may constrict the path at a constriction point. Fluid in the path upstream of the constriction point exerts a pressure on the frontal face of the piston that tends widen the path at the constriction point. The piston is mounted so that the weight of the piston exerts a force on the piston in a direction that tends to widen the path at the constriction point. A force is exerted on the piston, preferably by a spring under compression, in a direction that tends to narrow the path at the constriction point. A buffering gas, introduced to the area between the piston's skirt and the piston mounting structure, may be used to keep noxious fumes from backing up into the environment and/or to provide an efficient bearing.
