    摘要: A cargo load bracing bar comprises first, outer and second, inner telescoping tubular members, a housing attached to the outer tubular member, a pinion gear and actuating ratchet handle, having a spring-biased ratchet member mounted thereon, respectively rotatably and pivotally mounted upon the housing, and a gear rack attached at one end thereof to the inner tubular member while the opposite end of the gear rack is slidably disposed upon the outer tubular member. An angle bracket is mounted upon the housing, and a spring-biased pawl member is slidably disposed upon the gear rack and operatively associated with the angle bracket. The pawl member and the ratchet member are normally engaged with the pinion gear so as to achieve the ratcheting extension of the gear rack and the inner tubular member with respect to the outer tubular member. However, the ratchet member may be disengaged from the pinion gear so as to permit the ratchet handle to be moved to a collapsed position substantially parallel to the outer tubular member, and both the ratchet member and the pawl member may be disengaged from the pinion gear so as to permit the pinion gear to freely rotate, and the gear rack and inner tubular member to undergo free longitudinal movement, so as to permit the cargo load bracing bar to be rapidly extended or contracted.

    摘要: A disposable liner for a pressure feed paint cup and a method for using such liner. A lid is removed from the paint cup and a disposable liner bag is inserted into the cup while an open end of the liner bag extends from the open cup end. The open liner bag end is folded over and protects the cup end and paint is poured into the liner bag. A disposable lid is placed over the open cup end and the open liner bag end is folded inwardly over the disposable lid. The paint cup lid is then attached to the paint cup, clamping the liner bag and disposable lid in place. As the paint cup lid is placed on the paint cup, a paint feed tube is pushed through an opening in the disposable lid. Optionally, a ring may be placed in a recess in the disposable lid to retain the folded liner bag end in place while the paint cup lid is attached to the paint cup. After painting, the liner and any remaining paint are disposed of.

The second port is coupled to the third port to permit the flow of coating material from the first reservoir to the dispenser. A source is provided for an electrically non-conductive fluid. The first housing and the first movable component define between them a second passageway, and the source of electrically non-conductive fluid is coupled to the fourth port to provide a flow of the electrically non-conductive fluid from the source of electrically non-conductive fluid through the second passageway to flush coating material from surfaces of the first housing and first movable component adjacent the second passageway and exit from the fifth port.

    摘要: An inverted V-shaped bulkhead void filler for filling empty spaces in a cargo area during shipping includes a novel non-pivotable, but disengagable, interlocking structure. The bulkhead void filler includes first and second rigid panels of a sandwich-type construction attached by the interlocking structure at an upper end of each of the panels. To form the novel non-pivotable, but disengagable, interlocking structure, the second panel includes a side clip and end clips attached to its upper end. The clips define a gap substantially equal to the width or thickness of a leg of the core. The leg of the core of the first panel is slid into the gap and held securely therein.

    摘要: A method and system for supplying electrically conductive coating materials to an electrostatic dispenser with a parallel arrangement of subsystems selectably coupled to the dispenser by a four-port system voltage blocking valve, which electrically isolates the subsystems. The subsystems each include first and second piston cylinders that alternatingly receive a selected coating material from a corresponding manifold and supply the coating material to the dispenser by a subsystem voltage blocking valve, which isolates the dispenser from the manifold, when coupled to the dispenser. The first and second piston cylinders of each subsystem also alternatingly receive a solvent from the corresponding manifold and direct the solvent to a waste receptacle by a corresponding subsystem voltage blocking valve when the subsystem is not coupled to the dispenser. The solvent removes previously supplied coating material from the non-selected subsystem and readies the non-selected subsystem for supplying a next selected coating material to the dispenser.
