    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a flexographic printing plate precursor in which reproducibility of microcells is improved in a case of being made into a flexographic printing plate, and durability of independent dots is improved, and a manufacturing method of a flexographic printing plate using the flexographic printing plate precursor. The flexographic printing plate precursor of the present invention includes, in the following order, an infrared ablation layer, a photosensitive resin layer, and a support, in which a content of a photopolymerization initiator contained in a surface layer region of the photosensitive resin layer from a surface on a side in contact with the infrared ablation layer up to 100 μm in a thickness direction is larger than a content of a photopolymerization initiator contained in a remainder region of the photosensitive resin layer, which is closer to the support side than the surface layer region.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a laminate for forming an image with high sensitivity of the heat-sensitive image forming layer and excellent manufacturing suitability, and a manufacturing method of a flexographic printing plate using the same. The laminate for forming an image is a laminate for forming an image, which is for forming a mask used for manufacturing a flexographic printing plate, including, in the following order, a carrier sheet, a barrier layer, and a heat-sensitive image forming layer, in which the barrier layer contains a first infrared absorbing dye, the heat-sensitive image forming layer contains an ultraviolet absorber and a second infrared absorbing dye, both of the first infrared absorbing dye and the second infrared absorbing dye are a compound having an absorption at a wavelength of 1070 nm and having a mass absorption coefficient at the wavelength of 1070 nm of 50 L/(g·cm) or more, and both of the barrier layer and the heat-sensitive image forming layer contain a third infrared absorbing dye having an absorption at a wavelength of 830 nm.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a flexographic printing plate precursor in which a sensitivity of a heat-sensitive image forming layer is high and occurrence of white spots in a line drawing can be suppressed in a case of being used for a flexographic printing plate, and a manufacturing method of a flexographic printing plate using the same. The flexographic printing plate precursor of the present invention is a flexographic printing plate precursor including, in the following order, a support, a photosensitive resin layer, a barrier layer, and a heat-sensitive image forming layer, in which the barrier layer contains a first infrared absorbing dye, the heat-sensitive image forming layer contains an ultraviolet absorber and a second infrared absorbing dye, and in the barrier layer, a content of a compound having substantially no absorption in a wavelength range of 900 to 1200 nm and having an absorption in a wavelength range of 300 to 400 nm is 0% by mass or more and less than 0.1% by mass with respect to a mass of the barrier layer.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a flexographic printing plate precursor which exhibits excellent rear end ink receptivity and microcell reproducibility in a case of being used for a flexographic printing plate.     Eb is a back exposure amount (unit: mJ/square centimeter), and refers to an exposure amount at which a relief depth is 600 μm,
    Ef is a main exposure amount (unit: mJ/square centimeter), and refers to an exposure amount at which a difference in height between an end part as a convex portion and a central part as a concave portion in a case of forming an image area consisting of a 200 μm convex thin line reaches 4 μm, and
    t refers to a thickness of the flexographic printing plate precursor from a bottom surface of the support to a surface of the photosensitive layer.
