In the active position of the flow-perturbing element, the flow of air coming out of the top opening is deviated towards the windscreen of the motor vehicle. The movement of the flow-perturbing element is governed in synchronism with the movement of an open/close element that controls the flow of air to side front openings provided on the front surface of the dashboard, for the flow of air into the passenger compartment, and to auxiliary side openings, provided at the ends of the dashboard, for outflow of air in the direction of the side windows of the motor vehicle.
