    Abstract: The present invention relates to a centrifugal pump and a bearing retainer for the centrifugal pump. The centrifugal pump has a shaft, a bearing for supporting the shaft, and a bearing retainer for the bearing. The bearing retainer comprises a ring section adapted to surround the bearing and an elastic section adjacent the ring section, wherein the elastic section comprises multiple slits, dividing the elastic section into multiple resilient parts, wherein the multiple resilient parts are adapted to receiving and supporting the bearing, thereby creating a compression force in radial direction perpendicular to the axis of the shaft, allowing the bearing retainer to hold the bearing in a fixed position with respect to the bearing retainer.

    Abstract: A pump bearing retainer (1), for a wet-running pump, includes a radially inner section (3) including an inner section surface (9) for a press-fit contact with an essentially cylinder-shaped radial outer surface (29) of a pump bearing (13). A radially outer section (7) includes an annular or essentially conical-shaped outer section surface (17) with a cone angle (θ1) equal to or larger than 45°. An intermediate section (5) extends from the inner section (3) to the outer section (7). The intermediate section (5) includes an essentially conical-shaped intermediate section surface (15) with a cone angle (θ2) smaller than 45°. A longitudinal cross-section area (A) of the inner section (3) is smaller than a longitudinal cross-section area (B) of the intermediate section (5).

    Abstract: A multistage centrifugal pump has a foot part (2) and a head part (9), between which pump stages are integrated. The head part (9) and the foot part (2) are connected via tie-rods (11) which with one end are fastened on the head part (9) and with the other end are fastened on the foot part (2). The tie-rods (11) at one end comprise a thread (14), with which they are tightened on the head part (9). The tie-rods (11) are formed from sheet metal. At the end opposite the thread, the tie-rods include a recess, with which recess the tie-rods are each positively fixed on the foot part (2), at least in the tensile direction (22).

    Abstract: A centrifugal pump includes at least one pump stage, with a rotatable impeller (5) with a suction port (6) which is sealed with respect to a stationary pump part (1) by way of a sealing arrangement. The sealing arrangement includes a sealing ring (9) between the impeller (5) and the stationary pump part (1). The sealing arrangement is configured such that at least on delivery operation of the pump, the sealing arrangement has sealing sections which are distanced to the counter sealing surface and sealing sections which bear on the counter sealing surface, in an alternatingly successive manner considered in the peripheral direction of the sealing ring (9).
