    Abstract: A method is provided. The method comprises receiving a travel plan for a vehicle including a travel path information; determining a vehicle trajectory using the travel path information; obtaining forecasts of at least one of weather and vehicles proximate in time and location to the vehicle along the vehicle trajectory; determining, based upon at least one of the weather forecast and the other vehicles forecast, if at least one optional function would be beneficial to enable during vehicle travel along the vehicle trajectory; and generating at least one enablement code corresponding to the determined at least one optional function.

    Abstract: A smart exception handler system for safety-critical real-time systems is provided. The system is configured to: receive a plurality of parameters at a plurality of nodal points in a real-time execution path; analyze the received parameters using a trained exception handling model, wherein the trained exception handling model has been trained using machine learning techniques to learn the critical path of execution and/or critical range of parameters at critical nodes, wherein the critical range of parameters comprises a learned threshold at a node; compute, using the trained exception handling model, a probability of fault at the critical nodes; compare the probability of fault at a critical node against a learned threshold at the node; and take proactive action in real-time to avoid the occurrence of a fault when the probability of fault at the node is higher than the learned threshold at the node.

    Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for automatically adjusting aircraft performance parameters for use on an airdrop. The method comprises establishing and transmitting initial dimensions for a drop zone from a ground element to a flight management system (FMS) of an in-flight cargo aircraft via a secure data link. The ground element continually monitors ground-based parameters affecting the dimensions of the drop zone and transmits changes to the parameters to the FMS via the secure data link. The FMS adjusts a computed air release point (CARP) for the airdrop and continually updates flight performance parameters for the in-flight cargo aircraft based on the changes to the ground-based parameters.

    Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for transmitting a notification to modify vehicle features specific to a mission for a vehicle. For instance, a method may include obtaining feature information about the vehicle, the feature information indicating a sub-set of features the vehicle has enabled out of a full-set of features available to the vehicle; monitoring a vehicle state of the vehicle; detecting changes in the vehicle state by comparing a current vehicle state to a historical vehicle state; in response to detecting a change in the vehicle state, determining whether to transmit a notification to modify the sub-set of the features the vehicle has enabled based on an analysis of the change in the vehicle state; and in response to determining to transmit the notification, transmitting to the vehicle the notification to modify the sub-set of the features the vehicle has enabled.
