Abstract: Techniques for response management in an indoor facility are described. A server device processes a signal from an unmanned vehicle to deduce occurrence of an actionable event. A preliminary location of the occurrence of the actionable event is determined based on an instantaneous position of the unmanned vehicle at the time of transmitting the signal. The inputs obtained from a set of static sensors located in proximity to the preliminary location is processed to verify the occurrence of the actionable event. A verified location of the occurrence of the actionable event is determined based on the preliminary location of the occurrence of the actionable event and an actual location of the set of static sensors within the indoor facility. The server device triggers an alert to indicate the occurrence of the actionable event, wherein the alert comprises the verified location of the occurrence of the event.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for assisting operation of a vehicle using speech recognition. One method involves automatically identifying an input element based at least in part on an audio communication with respect to the vehicle, identifying one or more constraints associated with the input element, obtaining a limited command vocabulary for the input element using the one or more constraints, and automatically constructing a contextual speech recognition graph for the input element prior to user selection of the input element using the limited command vocabulary. Thereafter, subsequently received audio input is recognized using the contextual speech recognition graph that was automatically and prospectively generated.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for environmental data sharing and context-based relevance determination. One method comprises receiving, by an environmental condition response system of a receiving vehicle, environmental data associated with a sending vehicle. Then, the environmental condition response system of the receiving vehicle analyzes the received environmental data for relevance based on contextual information of the receiving vehicle. Based on determining that the received environmental data is relevant to the receiving vehicle, the environmental condition response system determines a remedial action and sends instructions to perform the remedial action to a corresponding vehicle component system of the receiving vehicle.

Abstract: Flight deck systems are provided for integrating braking action information with flight deck runway functions. In one embodiment, the flight deck system includes a cockpit display device on which an airport display, such as a two dimensional or three dimensional Airport Moving Map, is generated. A controller is coupled to the cockpit display device and configured to produce a braking action graphic on the airport display indicative of the current braking action of a first runway approached for usage by the aircraft. The controller may determine the current braking action of the runway from braking action information received over a datalink. Further, in certain embodiments, the controller can assign the current braking action of the runway to a predetermined braking action category and produce the braking action graphic to visually identify the assigned braking action category.

Abstract: Systems and methods for defining a custom fix via a graphical user interface (GUI) for operation of an aircraft. The method includes uniquely sized and arranged custom fix dialog GUI windows that are displayed on an active avionic display, the custom fix dialog windows having preprogrammed arrangements of GUI objects. The GUI objects allow a user to select between custom airports or custom runways, and to select between create, edit, and store custom fix functions. The method decodes and sequences user input, as related to the displayed GUI objects. Embodiments keep track of required data fields for respective custom fixes, and store custom fix data in a custom database that is compatible with the navigation database and avionic display systems.
