摘要： An image processing system includes a joining processing unit configured to perform a joining process to join input images captured by an image capturing device and generate an output image the image capturing device being reflected in each of the input images; and an acceptance unit configured to receive selection of one of a plurality of modes for the joining process. The plurality of modes has a first mode to generate an output image in which at least a part of the image capturing device is reflected, through the joining process; and a second mode to, through the joining process, generate an output image whose area where the image capturing device is reflected is smaller than an area where the image capturing device is reflected in the output image in the first mode or generate an output image in which the image capturing device is not reflected.

摘要： An image processing apparatus includes a high resolution processing portion for generating a high-resolution image from a first low-resolution image to be a datum frame and M (M is an integer of one or larger) second low-resolution images, the high-resolution image having a higher resolution than the low-resolution images, and a region cutting out portion for setting a first target region in an image region of the first low-resolution image and for setting a second target region in an image region of the second low-resolution image. The high resolution processing portion calculates a pixel value of a region corresponding to the first target region in an image region of the high-resolution image based on pixel values of the first and the second target regions set by the region cutting out portion. The region cutting out portion scans the position of the first target region to be set in the first low-resolution image and sets the second target region at a position corresponding to the position of the first target region after the scan every time when the high resolution processing portion calculates the pixel value of the high-resolution image.

摘要： Cameras are installed at the front, right, left, and back side of a vehicle, and two feature points are located at each of the common field of view areas between the front-right cameras, front-left cameras, back-right cameras, and back-left cameras. A camera calibration device includes a parameter extraction unit for extracting transformation parameters for projecting each camera's captured image on the ground and synthesizing them. After transformation parameters for the left and right cameras are obtained by a perspective projection transformation, transformation parameters for the front and back cameras are obtained by a planar projective transformation so as to accommodate transformation parameters for the front and back cameras with the transformation parameters for the left and right cameras.
