Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include a method of preventing ferrite migration in a hearing aid including an antenna stack and a battery stack wherein the antenna stack sits on the battery stack, the method comprising the steps of: conformally coating the top and sides of the antenna stack using a conformal coating material; and separately coating all the surfaces of the battery stack using a separate material.

Abstract: The protection of an electrical energy accumulation device from electromagnetic attacks is provided. The electrical energy accumulation device comprises a housing made of an electrically conductive material, at least one electrical energy storage cell that is arranged in the housing and two terminals that are arranged through the housing, the terminals being electrically insulated from the housing, the terminals allowing electrical energy to be transferred between the at least one storage cell and the exterior of the device. The device further comprises, inside the housing, a specific component exhibiting an impedance having at least one resistive component that is higher than 1 ohm, which component is configured to dissipate the energy of electromagnetic interference attempting to penetrate the housing through at least one of the terminals.

Abstract: A heat insulation sheet includes a fiber sheet, a resin layer provided on a surface of an outer peripheral portion of the fiber sheet, and a silica xerogel disposed in spaces of the fiber sheet. The fiber sheet includes fibers forming spaces among the fibers. The resin layer is denser than the fiber sheet and made of thermoplastic resin. The silica xerogel is held in the plurality of fibers. This heat insulation sheet is excellent in adhesiveness, and is easily attached to a protective sheet or a frame to be fixed.

Abstract: A sealed battery includes a battery outer case, a collector terminal, an outwardly exposed terminal, and a current shut-off mechanism configured to cut off a conductive path from the collector terminal to the outwardly exposed terminal when the internal pressure of the battery outer case exceeds a predetermined pressure. The current shut-off mechanism includes a connection plate with a vent hole, and a shut-off valve including a reversing portion. A joint region in the connection plate is in contact with a surface, of the reversing portion, that faces the inner side of the battery outer case. A thermal-spray joint portion configured to cover a border between the joint region and the reversing portion is provided, such that the shut-off valve is joined to the connection plate via the thermal-spray joint portion.
