摘要： The presence of endotoxin in the outer membrane of cell wall of a Gram-negative bacteria is used to determine bacterial contamination in a biological product. The amount of endotoxin present in a biological product is accurately measured without influence of a limulus reaction-activating substance which causes a false-positive reaction, by a method including the steps of: inactivating the limulus reaction-activating substance, if any, in the biological product, by exposing the biological product to a surfactant at a temperature ranging from the surfactant's freezing point to 50° C.; and measuring the amount of endotoxin present in the biological product, using a limulus reagent.

The support is formed by a first sheet and a second sheet overlying the first sheet. The first sheet 6 is elastically flexible and stretchable in its longitudinal direction and the second sheet has its longitudinally opposite end portions bonded to longitudinally opposite end portions of the first sheet and elastically stretchable at least in the longitudinal direction. The inner surface of the second sheet is formed so that the outer surface of the napkin may be fixed thereon.

摘要： The present invention provides a monoclonal antibody recognizing modification after translation of p53 in a manner specific to a modification site, an antibody microarray comprising the antibody immobilized on a substrate, etc. Disclosed is a monoclonal antibody which reacts specifically with a peptide consisting of an amino acid sequence of at least 6 consecutive amino acids containing a predetermined amino acid residue of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1, wherein the amino acid residue is phosphorylated or acetylated, or with a peptide having one to several arbitrary amino acids added to the above peptide, but does not react with the above peptide which is not phosphorylated or acetylated.
