摘要: A display apparatus includes data lines, scanning lines arranged to cross the data lines, and pixel circuits aligning along the data lines and the scanning lines, such that one of the pixel circuits corresponds to each intersection between the data lines and the scanning lines. In addition, image signal lines transmit image signals, and switches connect the data lines to the image signal lines so that each of the data lines is connected to one of the image signal lines. The data lines are arranged such that adjacent data lines form a pair of data lines, and adjacent pairs of data lines are spaced apart from each other by two columns of pixel-circuits. Respective data lines of the pair of data lines are connected by the switches to two different image signal lines, and the switches connecting the pair of data lines to corresponding image signal lines are activated simultaneously.

摘要: A display apparatus includes: a light emitting element, a source which supplies a current to the light emitting element from a drain; a capacitor one end of which is connected to a gate of the transistor; a gate voltage setting circuit detachably connected to the gate of the transistor, the gate voltage setting circuit setting the gate voltage of the transistor to an initial voltage; and a capacitor terminal voltage setting circuit which is connected to another end of the capacitor, and which sets the voltage of the another end of the capacitor to any of data voltage corresponding to image information and constant reference voltage which does not depend on the image information, wherein a range, in which a current flowing through the light emitting element varies depending on the data voltage, is adjusted by changing one of the initial voltage and the reference voltage.

摘要: An organic EL display apparatus includes a plurality of pixels, organic EL devices, a data line driver, a pixel circuit, and a gate line driver. Each pixel has three or more organic EL device groups, each organic EL device group consisting of two organic EL devices emitting light of the same color; and emits light of three or more colors. The two organic EL devices are a first organic EL device having a light condensing element arranged on the light emitting surface side and a second organic EL device not having a light condensing element arranged on the light emitting surface side. Each pixel has a luminance difference forming unit for varying the luminance ratio of each color in the first organic EL device and the luminance ratio of each color in the second organic EL device.

摘要: A display apparatus includes a pixel circuit, a scanning line for supplying a scanning signal to the pixel circuit, a data line for supplying a data signal to the pixel circuit, and a shift register circuit having a number of stages, with every stage outputting the scanning signal to the scanning line. In addition, a first power supply supplies a voltage to the shift register circuit, and a second power supply supplies a voltage to the pixel circuit. After the first power supply is turned on, a constant level signal of either “H” or “L” is input into a terminal of the shift register circuit by clocks of the number of stages of the shift register such that every stage of the shift register outputs a same level signal before the second power supply is turned on.

摘要: A light emitting element is provided to allow for resetting a shift register while keeping a frame narrow without increasing complexity of a shift register circuit. A display apparatus has a data line, a scanning line, a pixel circuit, a shift register circuit, a first power supply supplying a voltage to the shift register circuit and a second power supply supplying a voltage to the pixel circuit. One end of the scanning line is connected to an output of the shift register circuit, and writing of a data signal from the data line to the pixel circuit can be controlled by a scanning signal from the scanning line. When the first power supply is on, any one of a high-level signal and a low-level signal is input into the shift register circuit for the number of stages of the shift register, and thereafter, the second power supply is turned on.

An organic electroluminescent display apparatus of the present invention includes a plurality of pixels, an organic electroluminescent element, a data line driver, a pixel circuit, and a gate line driver, in which each pixel includes two organic electroluminescent elements that emit light of the same color, an element with high light-collecting property is disposed over a light emission side of only one of the two organic electroluminescent elements, and units that make a difference in lighting times or drive currents between the two organic electroluminescent elements are included.
