摘要： In a display apparatus, selection signals are supplied sequentially to scanning lines in each subframe period including a frame period for performing a display scan to write display data to a plurality of data lines into pixel circuits in a first interval of a selection period. Selection signals are also supplied sequentially to scanning lines in at least two successive subframe periods including a frame period for performing an erase scan to write erase data to the plurality of data lines into pixel circuits in a second interval of the selection period. There is an overlapping period between two erase scan periods in the at least two successive subframe periods. During the overlapping periods, selection signals for performing the display scan and erase scan are supplied simultaneously to the scanning lines.

摘要： A display apparatus includes a display panel including pixels arranged in a matrix, pixel electrodes provided to the pixels, respectively, a common electrode provided commonly to the pixels, and scanning lines and signal lines for supplying a voltage to the pixel electrodes. In addition, a drive circuit is connected to the common electrode, the scanning lines, and the signal lines, and a control circuit provides a signal to the drive circuit. The control circuit selectively switches between a display drive mode in which an image is displayed on the display panel through sequential scanning of the scanning lines and application of a variable voltage to pixels via the signal lines by the drive circuit and a rewriting drive mode in which selected pixels are rewritten into black or white through application of a voltage, which is higher than a range of the variable voltage, to the selected pixels on a scanning line selected by the drive circuit.

摘要： A display apparatus includes a pixel circuit, a scanning line for supplying a scanning signal to the pixel circuit, a data line for supplying a data signal to the pixel circuit, and a shift register circuit having a number of stages, with every stage outputting the scanning signal to the scanning line. In addition, a first power supply supplies a voltage to the shift register circuit, and a second power supply supplies a voltage to the pixel circuit. After the first power supply is turned on, a constant level signal of either “H” or “L” is input into a terminal of the shift register circuit by clocks of the number of stages of the shift register such that every stage of the shift register outputs a same level signal before the second power supply is turned on.

摘要： An exemplary embodiment of the present invention is a display apparatus. In the display apparatus, each row has as many row selection lines as the number of colors of light emitting elements, and row selection signals are supplied via the row selection lines such that a first row selection signal and a second row selection signals are supplied to driving circuits of light emitting elements of each color in first and second periods alternately and a plurality of times at different intervals in each frame. In the first period, light-emission or no-light-emission data signals are supplied over data lines. In the second period, only no-light-emission data signals are supplied. One of the first and second row selection signals is supplied with the same timing for all colors, while the other one of the row selection signals is supplied with timing different among the colors.
