Abstract: A power conversion device includes a housing with a mounting cavity, and the mounted cavity mounts a power element and a heat sink. The heat sink includes a thermally conductive plate which is mounted in the housing. The thermally conductive plate includes a first side in a first direction of the thermally conductive plate, where the first side has a heat source assembly region, and where the power element is disposed in the heat source assembly region and is in thermal contact with the thermally conductive plate. The thermally conductive plate has at least one sealed chamber, where the chamber is provided with flow channels that are spaced apart, and a two-phase cooling medium is accommodated in the flow channel. The flow channel includes a first end and a second end spaced apart in a third direction, and the first end is located above the second end.

Abstract: A powertrain, a coolant flow rate estimation method, and an electric vehicle are provided. Coolant in a first cooling loop of the powertrain is configured to cool an inverter. An electronic pump drives the coolant to circulate in the first cooling loop. When a phase current of a motor is greater than or equal to a preset current value, a controller determines a rotation speed of the electronic pump at a first moment as a first rotation speed, and determines a coolant flow rate at the first moment based on a temperature at a first position in the first cooling loop, a temperature at a second position in the inverter, and a power loss of the inverter. In the solution of this application, data does not need to be separately calibrated for different thermal management systems. This reduces time consumed by data calibration and improves practicability.

Abstract: An oil temperature control method is applied to a controller of an electric vehicle that includes an oil cooling circuit, where the oil cooling circuit flows through a motor and an inverter. The method includes the following steps: determining an oil temperature at a detection point, where the detection point is a specified location in the oil cooling circuit; when the oil temperature is lower than a first target temperature, triggering one or more of the following operations: bypassing an oil-water heat exchanger, reducing a water flow rate, and increasing a power of an oil pump; or when the oil temperature is higher than a second target temperature, triggering one or more of the following operations: disabling a bypass path of an oil-water heat exchanger, increasing a water flow rate, and reducing a power of an oil pump.
