摘要: A charging system includes: a switch device and a control device. Each of charging ports is provided with a lid configured to open and close a corresponding one of the charging ports. The control device is configured to determine whether a predetermined charge prohibition condition is satisfied before starting charging an electric energy storage device using any one of the charging ports, and when the predetermined charge prohibition condition is satisfied, keep each of power paths from the charging ports to the electric energy storage device disconnected. The predetermined charge prohibition condition is satisfied when the lid of at least one charging port that is included in the charging ports and that is other than the charging port to be used is open.

摘要: In at least one embodiment, a vehicle battery charger is provided. The vehicle battery charger includes at least one transformer, a first modular converter, a filter, and at least one controller. The first modular converter includes a first plurality of switching devices to generate a first voltage signal in response to a filtered input signal. A second plurality of switching devices generate a second voltage signal. The filter is operably coupled to the first modular converter and provides the filtered input signal to the first modular converter in response to a first input signal from a mains supply. The filtered input signal includes a detectable current portion and an undetected current portion. The controller is programmed to determine the undetected current portion based at least on a capacitance of the filter and generate a first control variable to compensate for the undetected current portion.

摘要: A charger for a vehicle includes a power factor correction (PFC) stage to convert AC input power to DC power; an inverter stage; and a transformer having first, second, and OBC coils, each being magnetically coupled for transmitting power therebetween. The OBC coil is connected to the inverter stage, a high-voltage (HV) power converter is connected to the first coil to charge an HV battery connected thereto, and a low-voltage (LV) power converter is connected to the second coil to charge an LV battery connected thereto. The charger is operable in an onboard charger (OBC) mode to transfer the input power to charge the HV battery from the AC input power. The charger is also operable in a DC-DC mode to transfer power from the HV battery to the LV battery, and a wireless power transfer (WPT) mode to receive power from a transceiver coil for charging the HV battery.

摘要: The present invention generally relates to a modular high power bi-directional half bridge buck/boost converter assembly and, in particular, to a system for converting power from one form of current (either AC or DC) to a differing level of voltage, either lower (buck) or higher (boost), to output a wave signal based on pulse wave modulation (PWM) switching control by means of an external digital controller and methods of operation. In particular, an inverter-converter system includes at least one half bridge module including a plurality of circuit components, at least one inductor which is connected to the at least one half bridge module and a power supply, and a controller which is configured to receive and send instructions to the at least one half bridge module for converting an input voltage to an output voltage and dynamically tune switching frequencies based on a load of the inverter-converter system.

A failure detection method of a current sensor in a converter includes recognizing a voltage value of a high voltage battery associated with a vehicle, calculating a reference current value of the converter associated with the high voltage battery based on the recognized voltage value of the high voltage battery and a resistance value of a pre-charge relay, obtaining a sensing current value from the current sensor in the converter, and detecting whether the current sensor in the converter fails using the calculated reference current value and a sensing current value obtained from the current sensor.

摘要: A generator of a hybrid electric vehicle is electrically connected with an inverter by a harness. A generator opening is opened on a generator housing, and an inverter opening is opened on an inverter housing. The harness extends between the generator opening and the inverter opening. The harness is led out from the inverter opening in a first direction toward the generator. The harness is led out from the generator opening in a second direction that is different from the first direction. The inverter opening is set off with respect to the generator opening in the second direction, and at least a portion of the harness extends between the generator housing and the inverter housing. The harness necessarily flexes, and thereby deters transmission of vibrations from the generator to the inverter.
