Abstract: Provided are a light color conversion material and a light color conversion ink. The light color conversion material includes a quantum dot and a cross-linkable cholesteric liquid crystal material. The cross-linkable cholesteric liquid crystal material encapsulates the quantum dot. The cross-linkable cholesteric liquid crystal material has Bragg diffraction characteristic after cross-linking, and blue light with a wavelength between 400 nm and 480 nm may be reflected by the cross-linked cholesteric liquid crystal material and transmitted through the cross-linked cholesteric liquid crystal material at the same time.

Abstract: A brightness enhanced self-luminous type display including a self-luminous display panel and a brightness enhancement stacked layer is provided. The self-luminous display panel includes pixels arranged in array, wherein each pixel includes light-emitting sub-pixels displaying different colors. The brightness enhancement stacked layer is disposed on the self-luminous display panel. The brightness enhancement stacked layer includes an absorptive polarizer layer, a phase retardation layer and a reflective polarizer layer. The reflective polarizer layer is between the self-luminous display panel and the phase retardation layer. The phase retardation layer is between the absorptive polarizer layer and the reflective polarizer layer. The reflective polarizer layer includes reflective polarizer blocks arranged in array. Each reflective polarizer block is disposed over one of the light-emitting sub-pixels correspondingly, and a wavelength of maximum intensity of each light-emitting sub-pixel is respectively within a wavelength band of light effectively reflected and polarized by the corresponding reflective polarizer block.

Abstract: A wideband compensation stack film comprises a chiral-half-wave compensation film and a chiral-quarter-wave compensation film. The chiral-quarter-wave compensation film is directly in contact with the chiral half-wave compensation film. Along the contact surface, the first layer liquid crystal molecule of the chiral-quarter-wave compensation film is arranged in the last layer of liquid crystal molecule of the chiral-half-wave compensation film. The retardation values (R) and the optical axis (Z) of the stack films follow a linear relationship: R=aZ+b.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an enhanced wavelength converting structure. The enhanced wavelength converting structure includes a first crosslinked cholesteric liquid crystal layer and a plurality of first quantum dots dispersed in the first crosslinked cholesteric liquid crystal layer. When a first light is incident into the enhanced wavelength converting structure, the plurality of first quantum dots are excited and emit a second light of a wavelength different from a wavelength of the first light, and the second light is toned up via multiple reflections in the first crosslinked cholesteric liquid crystal layer. The present disclosure further provides a luminescent film and a display backlighting unit.
