Abstract: A hollow fiber adsorbent compressed dry air system including an intake unit, a first adsorption/regeneration unit, a second adsorption/regeneration unit, a switch unit and an exhaust unit is disclosed. The first adsorption/regeneration unit has a hollow fiber adsorbent housing and a heating device disposed in the surrounding of the adsorbent housing. The second adsorption/regeneration unit has another hollow fiber adsorbent housing and another heating device disposed in the surrounding of the another adsorbent housing. One of the hollow fiber adsorbent housings performs drying procedure to the compressed air in the room temperature, and the other hollow fiber adsorbent housing, when heated by the heating device thereof, performs a desorption regeneration procedure in a high temperature condition. The switch unit alternately switches the drying procedure and the desorption regeneration procedure to the first adsorption/regeneration unit and the second adsorption/regeneration unit. The exhaust unit outputs dried product air.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a multi-channel hollow fiber including a tubular matrix having a first end and a second end, and a plurality of channels formed through the tubular matrix and extending between the first end and the second end. The multi-channel hollow fiber of the present disclosure provides enhanced adsorption or separation efficiency for gas and liquid. Meanwhile, the content of an adsorption material in the multi-channel hollow fiber can be increased to 95 wt %, and the multi-channel hollow fiber has good mechanical strength.

Abstract: A drying apparatus includes a gas flow channel, a first hollow fiber module, a second hollow fiber module, a gas driver and a control unit. The gas flow channel is used to accommodate an article and has a first terminal and a second terminal. The first and second hollow fiber modules are disposed at the first and second terminals respectively to adsorb water or to be electrified to desorb water. The gas driver disposed in a gas flow path of the gas flow channel drives the gas flowing into the gas flow channel through the first hollow fiber module and flowing out from the gas flow channel through the second hollow fiber module, or flowing into the gas flow channel through the second hollow fiber module and flowing out from the gas flow channel through the first hollow fiber module. The control unit provides power to the first and second hollow fiber modules and controls the gas driver.

Abstract: A solid surface wettability determination method is disclosed. A liquid is sprayed on a surface of an object. A light beam is projected toward the surface, wherein the light beam is reflected by the liquid on the surface to generate a reflected light. The reflected light is received by an optical detector, and the optical detector outputs a determining signal related to a wettability of the surface according to the reflected light. A corresponding signal-angle relation is selected from a database according to type of the liquid and material of the object. The contact angle of the liquid on the surface is obtained by applying the determining signal to the corresponding signal-angle relation.

Abstract: A CO2 adsorption and recovery system including an intake unit, a first purification/adsorption/regeneration unit, a second purification/adsorption/regeneration unit, a three-way valve switching unit, a vacuum drawing unit and an exhaust unit is provided. The first and second purification/adsorption/regeneration units have a hollow fiber bundle impurity adsorption column, a hollow fiber bundle CO2 adsorption column and two heating devices. One set of adsorption columns performs purification and adsorption procedures to the inlet gas in a normal or high pressure condition, and the other set of adsorption columns performs desorption and regeneration procedures in a high temperature condition when the adsorption columns are heated by the heating devices. The three-way valve switching unit exchanges the purification and adsorption procedures with the regeneration procedure to the first and second units. The vacuum drawing unit draws CO2 desorbed from the CO2 adsorption columns alternatively. The exhaust unit drains a purified product gas out.
