摘要: New radio download numerology allocation information may be obtained through master information block data, system information block data, radio resource control signals, or signals or a physical downlink numerology indication channel, and used along with a reference signal detected in a search space to obtain resource element positions in an antenna port reference signal in a resource block that belongs to a particular band slice according to a reference signal allocation scheme for a band slice numerology. A physical download control may then be decoded based upon one or more resource elements of the reference signal, allowing the connection of, e.g., an enhanced mobile broadband, massive machine type communication, or ultra-reliable/low-latency application to a communications network thereby. Alternatively, multiple physical downlink control channels may be blindly demodulated at each of a number calculated reference signal locations, and one channel selected based on passing a cyclic redundancy check.

摘要: A method for use by an S-REDS may comprise quasi-omni broadcasting a multi-relay channel measurement request to one or more RDSs. The S-REDS may receive a first multi-relay channel measurement report from a first RDS of the one or more RDSs. The first multi-relay channel measurement report may contain first channel measurement information associated with a channel between the first RDS and the S-REDS. The S-REDS may further receive a second multi-relay channel measurement report from the first RDS of the one or more RDSs. The second multi-relay channel measurement report contains second channel measurement information associated with a channel between the first RDS of the one or more RDSs and a D-REDS.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for transmitting a relay search request frame from a source relay edge directional multigigabit (DMG) station STA (REDS) to the AP and receiving a relay search response frame including a list of at least a first and second relay DMG STA (RDS) in a wireless network. Systems and methods are further provided for transmitting over a first data stream through a direct link between the source REDS and the destination REDS, transmitting over a second data stream through the first RDS between the source REDS and the destination REDS, and transmitting over a third data stream through the second RDS between the source REDS and the destination REDS. Directional-band relay in wireless communications may be used in range extension where two wireless nodes may set up a relayed link without first forming a direct link between them.

摘要: It is recognized herein that as the number of transmit antennas in cellular systems (e.g., NR or 5G systems) increase, the Channel State information (CSI) feedback overhead may increase to unacceptable levels, and the current CSI feedback might not support beamforming training for NR. Embodiments described herein provide an enhanced and more efficient design for Channel State Information feedback as compared to current approaches.

摘要: Current approaches to transmitting uplink data in a network often require resources to be granted. In an example, a node or apparatus may configure a plurality of devices to operate in a grant-less mode in accordance with a respective grant-less access allocation, such that, when the plurality of devices transmit messages uplink in the network, the messages are transmitted using frequency resources defined by the respective grant-less access allocation, and the plurality of devices transmit the messages without being granted access to transmit the messages, so as to operate in the grant-less mode.
