Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first substrate including a scanning line extending along a first direction, a signal line extending along a second direction, a switching element, a first connection electrode, a pixel electrode, and a feed line, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer containing polymer dispersed liquid crystal, and a light emitting module. The feed line includes an edge extending along the second direction. The first connection electrode is a transparent electrode formed of a same material as the feed line, extends along the first direction, and includes an end portion opposed to the edge.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes, the first substrate including an insulating substrate, first and second light-shielding layers, a stacked layer film, first and second source lines, and a first insulating layer, the second substrate including first and second light-shielding materials. A first width of the first light-shielding layer along the first direction is equal to or greater than a second width of the first light-shielding material along the first direction, and a third width of the second light-shielding layer along the first direction is equal to or greater than a fourth width of the second light-shielding material along the first direction.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a sealant formed bonding the first substrate with the second substrate, a liquid crystal layer surrounded by the sealant, and a light emitting module. The sealant includes a first portion, a second portion opposed to the first portion with the liquid crystal layer sandwiched therebetween, an inlet formed in the second portion, and a filling material filled in the inlet. The liquid crystal layer is arranged over a display area where an image is displayed, a first area between the display area and the first portion, and a second area between the display area and the second portion, in plan view. A first width of the first area is larger than a width of the second area.
