    Abstract: A support structure for an intake manifold that reduces a burden of support on a front side of the intake manifold. The support structure includes a cylinder head and a fixing structure, and supports the intake manifold. An axial length direction of a crankshaft center is defined as a left-right direction, a horizontal direction orthogonal to the left-right direction is defined as a front-rear direction, and one side in the front-rear direction is defined as a front side. The intake manifold includes a collector and a plurality of branch pipes led out to the front side from the collector. An intake outlet at a front end of each of the branch pipes is supported by the cylinder head. The collector is elastically supported by the fixing structure. A throttle body is attached to a left or right end of the collector.

    Abstract: A spark-ignition engine capable of reducing the content of hydrocarbon in exhaust gas is provided. When viewed from a direction parallel to a cylinder center axis, given a central virtual line passing a squish area maximum-width section and the center of a combustion chamber recessed section, and one area a and the other area b divided by the central virtual line, an intake valve port or an exhaust valve port is opened in one area of any opposed section of opposed sections of the combustion chamber recessed section. A spark-plug attachment hole is formed in the other area of the opposed section, such that, when viewed from the direction parallel to the cylinder center axis, a spark discharge section at a tip of a spark plug does not overlap the central virtual line.

    Abstract: Provided is an engine control device and an engine device that enable stable self-travelling of the engine in a limp home mode. The engine control device includes a revolution speed detection unit that detects revolution speed of the engine, and an arithmetic unit that calculates an opening of a throttle valve opened by an electronic throttle mechanism, and an injection amount of fuel injected by injectors. In an operation of the engine in the limp home mode, in a case where the revolution speed of the engine detected by the revolution speed detection unit exceeds a predetermined limiting value, the arithmetic unit performs an operation to suppress injection of the fuel to be injected by the injectors.
