The teachings relate to an exhaust aftertreatment apparatus including: a) a reactor portion, b) a mixer located within the reactor portion, including: i) an outer tube; ii) an inner tube located within the outer tube; iii) an outer passage formed between a wall of the reactor portion and the outer tube; iv) an intermediate passage formed between the outer tube and the inner tube; and iv) an inner passage formed within the inner tube; and c) an injector in fluid communication with the reactor portion and upstream from the mixer, wherein the injector is configured to spray a reactant into the reactor portion such that it mixes with the exhaust stream in the mixer.

摘要: A diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) nozzle includes a first conduit, an outlet of the first conduit defining an inlet of a first mixing chamber; and a second conduit disposed around the first conduit, an outer surface of the first conduit and an inner surface of the second conduit defining a second flow path therebetween. A flow area of the second flow path decreases from an inlet of the second flow path to a throat, and increases from the throat to an outlet of the second flow path. The inner surface of the second conduit defines a peripheral wall of the first mixing chamber, and a peripheral wall of a second mixing chamber, the first flow path and the second flow path being in fluid communication with the second mixing chamber via the first mixing chamber.

摘要: An exhaust gas liquefying device is provided for reducing pollution from vehicles includes a casing generally comprised of two interconnected chambers. The casing is attached to the rear portion of a vehicle such as a car or small truck. The casing has an entry port to collect the exhaust gas from an exhaust pipe coming from the vehicle. At least one fan provides additional air and a condenser coil cools down the exhaust gas into a liquid which precipitates the carbon in the carbon dioxide. The added ambient air provided by the fan helps in evaporating the liquid which exits from an evacuation port.

摘要: A heavy duty truck includes a diesel engine that generates an exhaust gas flow and an exhaust after-treatment system for treatment of the exhaust gas flow. The exhaust after-treatment system includes at least one temperature sensor at an underbody SCR system within the exhaust after-treatment system and a DEF injector upstream of a close-coupled SCR system within the exhaust after-treatment system. The DEF injector is operated to inject DEF into the exhaust gas flow at a rate that varies as a function of a temperature measured by the temperature sensor.

摘要: An aftertreatment system comprises a reductant storage tank and a SCR system including a catalyst for reducing constituents of an exhaust gas. A reductant insertion assembly is fluidly coupled to the reductant storage tank and the SCR system. A controller is communicatively coupled to the reductant insertion assembly. The controller is configured to: determine an initial pressure of the reductant, determine a first pressure at which the reductant is to be delivered to the selective catalytic reduction system and adjust an operating parameter of the reductant insertion assembly. The adjustment of the operating parameter results in an at least selective delivery of the reductant at the first pressure to the SCR system.

A protuberance that protrudes from an inner wall surface of the discharge passage is located between the accommodation space and the air-fuel ratio sensor. The protuberance protrudes toward the center axis of the accommodation space.

摘要: There is provided a catalyst that exhibits a high denitration efficiency at a relatively low temperature and does not cause oxidation of SO2 in a selective catalytic reduction reaction that uses ammonia as a reducing agent. A denitration catalyst contains 3.3 wt % or more of vanadium oxide in terms of vanadium pentoxide and has a BET specific surface area of 10 m2/g or more.
