摘要: An endless metal belt including a ring formed by laminating endless metal plates; and multiple elements continuously attached to the ring. Each of the elements has a body, a head connected to the body by a pillar, and slots formed between the body and the head on left and right sides of the pillar, respectively, for receiving the ring. The elements satisfy the equations (h/t) 40, where h is a width of the slots, t is a plate thickness of the elements, and S is an area of the head.

摘要: An annular metal cord and an endless metal belt are provided which have superior breaking strength and which are easy to be produced. The annular metal cord includes an annular core portion 3 and an outer layer portion 4. The annular core portion 3 is formed by connecting together both ends of a first strand material 1 which is made up of six twisted first metal filaments 5. The outer layer portion 4 is formed by winding spirally a second strand material 2 which is made up of six twisted second metal filaments 6 around the annular core portion 3. The second strand material 2 is wound at a predetermined winding angle relative to a center axis of the annular core portion 3, and a winding initiating end portion and a winding terminating end portion thereof are connected together. Since it is not that six second strand materials 2 are not wound but that the second strand material 2 is wound six rounds, there only has to be the single second strand material 2, and there is only one connecting portion. As a result, the breaking strength of the annular metal cord can be made large, and the production thereof can be facilitated.

摘要: A cooling structure of a rotary electric machine (10) that includes a rotating shaft (16), a rotor (18), and a stator (20) that includes a coil end (22), includes a coolant passage (38) that is included in the rotating shaft (16) and through which coolant flows, and a squirt hole (42) that is included in the coolant passage (38). The squirt hole (42) is included in the coolant passage (38). An opening portion of the squirt hole (42) is positioned on an outer peripheral surface of the rotating shaft (16) and to an outside of the coil end (22) in the axial direction. The squirt hole (42) squirts the coolant such that the coolant is distributed to an inner peripheral surface (C1, C2) of the coil end (22) and an end surface (A1, A2) of the coil end (22) in the axial direction.

摘要: Ladies' pants has an inside belt portion that is provided with an eyelet buttonhole as a second buttonhole. A moving cloth is provided inside the inside belt portion. A button is sewn on the moving cloth and is taken out from the eyelet buttonhole so as to be movable inside the eyelet buttonhole. If the button is engaged with the second buttonhole, the eyelet buttonhole is hidden under an outside belt portion. Then, the ladies' pants allows a waist size to continuously change, thereby giving a wearer a relaxed and comfortable wearing feeling. A round part of the eyelet buttonhole is located at a position corresponding to nearly a center of the moving cloth when the moving cloth returns to its original position. Then, even if the button is detached, the button can be stitched by scoop sewing through the round part of the eyelet buttonhole. Thus, the button can be surely reattached to the moving cloth.

摘要: A corrosion-resistant article is proposed which is coated with an aluminum nitride wherein the aluminum nitride grains contain oxygen by 0.1 mass % or greater but not greater than 20 mass % so that the thermal expansion coefficient of the coating layer is made even with that of the base body; the relative density of the coating layer is preferably 50% or higher but lower than 98%. It is preferred that the coating layer is first made by chemical vapor deposition and then subjected to an oxidizing atmosphere of a temperature of 700 degrees centigrade or higher but 1150 degrees centigrade or lower; or it is preferable that after the chemical vapor deposition step the coating layer is exposed to the natural atmosphere to adsorb hydrate and then subjected to a heat treatment in an inert atmosphere of a temperature of 900 degrees centigrade but 1300 degrees centigrade or lower.
