Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition in the form of an emulsion containing portions of hollow spheres of organosilicon-based material, the portions of hollow spheres having a mean diameter ranging from 0.05 to 10 μm. The invention also relates to physiologically acceptable emulsion compositions comprising hollow spheres, and to a process for fading out skin surface defects, in particular to reduce the sheen of the skin and/or to fade out pores, shadows under the eyes, marks, wrinkles and/or fine lines, comprising the topical application to the skin of the above-mentioned compositions.
Abstract:
Cosmetic composition for making up and/or caring for keratin materials, in particular the skin and/or the lips, including: at least one aqueous phase gelled with at least one polymeric gelling agent that is natural or of natural origin; and at least one oily phase gelled with at least one lipophilic gelling agent chosen from particulate gelling agents, organopolysiloxane elastomers, semi-crystalline polymers and dextrin esters, and mixtures thereof; the phases forming therein a macroscopically homogeneous mixture.
Abstract:
Provided is a composition, especially a cosmetic composition, that comprises at least one monoglyceride and at least one tartaric ester of monoglyceride, and at least one coated pigment and/or mineral filler. Also provided is the use of a coated pigment and/or coated mineral filler for improving the stability of a composition, especially a cosmetic composition comprising at least one monoglyceride and at least one diacetyl tartaric ester of monoglyceride. Further provided is a cosmetic treatment method that implements the composition of the invention
Abstract:
The present invention is directed towards a cosmetic composition for making up and/or caring for keratin materials, in particular the skin and/or the lips, comprising: —at least one aqueous phase gelled with at least one synthetic polymeric hydrophilic gelling agent; and—at least one oily phase gelled with at least one lipophilic gelling agent chosen from particulate gelling agents, organopolysiloxane elastomers, semi-crystalline polymers and dextrin esters, and mixtures thereof; the said phases forming therein a macroscopically homogeneous mixture.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an emulsion not containing any emulsifying surfactant, in particular to an oil-in-water emulsion not containing any emulsifying surfactant, characterized in that it comprises, especially in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least composite particles comprising a core comprising at least organic or inorganic particles A; said core being covered at the surface, continuously or discontinuously, with an envelope comprising at least organic or inorganic particles B; said particles A and B having different polarities. The present invention also relates to the use of the composite particles as defined previously as emulsion stabilizer, in particular as stabilizer for an emulsion not containing any emulsifying surfactant, and more particularly as stabilizer for an oil-in-water emulsion not containing any emulsifying surfactant. The present invention also relates to a cosmetic process for treating a keratin material, which consists in applying to the keratin material an emulsion as defined previously.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are compositions comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium, a silicone material comprising concave and/or annular particles; hydrophobic silica aerogel particles; fillers chosen from platelet type fillers and silica particles other than hydrophobic silica aerogel particles; a fatty substance chosen from fatty alcohols and fatty acids; an emulsifying agent and a thickening agent, wherein the silica material, hydrophobic silica aerogel particles and fillers are present in a total amount of greater than 4% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition. Also disclosed herein is a process for reducing the visibility of imperfections on skin, comprising applying the composition onto the skin.
