Abstract: A palette, such as for providing one or more choices of a makeup includes a base enclosing a drawer. The drawer includes a pan within a pan compartment. The base has a drawer compartment from which the drawer can slide in and out. The pan is retained in the pan compartment by application of a force that presses on the bottom of the pan, and the top of the pan presses against a frame or lid. The pan is removable from the pan compartment when the drawer is slid out from the base to expose an opening in the pan compartment through which the pan is removed. When the drawer includes a fixed frame on top, the pan can slide out from the front or side of the drawer, and when the drawer includes a lid on top, the pan can be removed from the top of the drawer.

Abstract: A packaging system includes a base, a lid, a closure structure, and an adhesive deposit. The base has a well. The lid is hingeably connected to the base and has a user input region and a protrusion projecting into the well. The closure structure is configured for releasably retaining the lid in a closed position relative to the base. The adhesive deposit is located within the well and at least partially surrounds the protrusion, and forms a first plurality of adhesive bonds with the well and a second plurality of adhesive bonds with the protrusion. The second plurality of adhesive bonds and the closure structure are configured to exert a combined retention force of at least 20N.

Abstract: Cartridges are configurable between a closed state and an open state. The cartridges include a cartridge body and a reservoir disposed in the cartridge body. The cartridge body has an outer locking element, and the reservoir has a rotational locking element. In the closed state, the outer locking element engages the rotational locking element such that the reservoir cannot be rotated out of a first rotational position relative to the cartridge body in which a fluid outlet of the reservoir is not in fluid communication with a fluid outlet of the cartridge body. In the open state, the outer locking element of the cartridge body does not engage the rotational locking element of the reservoir, and the reservoir is in a second rotational position relative to the cartridge body such that the fluid outlet of the reservoir is in fluid communication with the fluid outlet of the cartridge body.
