Provided is a mobile terminal including: a camera; and a controller that captures a moving image using the camera, in which wherein in response to a control command that is applied in a state where the moving image is captured using the camera, the controller captures a static image, and after the capturing of the static image is completed, the controller performs processing that associates at least one portion of the captured moving image with the static image in such a manner that information on the at least one portion of the captured moving image is provided along with the captured static image.

A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are disclosed. The present invention includes a display unit configured to display an image including at least one object on a screen and a controller searching for at least one associated information on the object using a partial image corresponding to the object in the image, the controller displaying the searched associated information. Accordingly, when a user searches for an information on a specific object in an image using an image search function, it is unnecessary for the user to crop a partial image corresponding to the specific object in the image one by one. Instead, a mobile terminal automatically recognizes the specific object in the image and is then able to search for at least one associated information on the specific object using a partial image of the automatically recognized specific object.

A mobile terminal and controlling method therein are disclosed, by which photos/videos can be conveniently taken/made using a plurality of different preview images taken with at least two cameras. The present invention includes a 1st camera, a 2nd camera, a touchscreen, and a controller controlling a 1st preview image taken with the 1st camera and a 2nd preview image taken with the 2nd camera in camera photograph mode to be simultaneously displayed on the touchscreen at least, the controller controlling an image/video corresponding to a prescribed one of the simultaneously displayed preview images to be taken/made.
