Abstract: A control method of a food waste treatment apparatus is disclosed. The method includes the action of connecting a discharge side of a grinder with a communication hole of a dehydrator. The method further includes the action of receiving the food waste. The method further includes the action of grinding the food waste. The method further includes the action of receiving the ground food waste. The method further includes the action of supplying a predetermined amount of wash water to a housing that includes the dehydrator. The method further includes the action of rinsing the ground food waste. The method further includes the action of discharging wash water. The method further includes the action of drying the ground food waste. The method further includes the action of discharging the dried ground food waste.

Abstract: A method of controlling a dryer includes rotating a drum within the dryer in a first direction, detecting at least one of temperature or relative humidity of air discharged from the drum while the drum is rotating in the first direction, and sensing occurrence of entanglement inside the drum by comparing a variation rate of at least one of the detected temperature or the detected relative humidity with a corresponding reference value. The method also includes, based on sensing that the entanglement has occurred, reversing a rotation direction of the drum by rotating the drum in a second direction that is opposite the first direction, and further, based on reversing the rotation direction of the drum upon sensing that the entanglement has occurred, maintaining the second direction of rotation of the drum for a preset time.

Abstract: A food waste treatment apparatus is described. The apparatus includes a housing that defines a space that is configured to dehydrate and dry food waste, the housing having a drain pipe that is configured to discharge water included in the food waste and an exhaust duct that is configured to exhaust air that dried the food waste. The apparatus further includes a dryer that is configured to dry the food waste by supplying dry air to the housing. The apparatus further includes an exhaust unit connected to the drain pipe and the exhaust duct, the exhaust unit being configured to prevent the air exhausted from the exhaust duct from flowing back into the drain pipe.

Abstract: A method for controlling a garbage disposer that includes a crushing unit, a housing that includes an inlet port and an outlet port, a storage body, a communication hole, and an agitation unit is disclosed. The method includes the actions of connecting the communication hole with the inlet port by rotating the storage body. The method further includes opening the communication hole by rotating the agitation unit. The method further includes crushing, by the crushing unit, garbage. The method further includes supplying garbage to the inlet port. The method further includes closing the communication hole by rotating the agitation unit. The method further includes dehydrating garbage stored in the storage body by rotating the agitation unit and the storage body at a first rotation speed while maintaining the communication hole in a closed state.

Abstract: A method for controlling an exhaust type clothes dryer may include measuring humidity of air passing through an interior of the drum to sense a degree of dryness of a target item, and discharging air that has passed through the drum or recirculating at least a portion of air that has passed through the drum to the drum by comparing a degree of dryness of the target item with a predetermined reference value. In the recirculating of air, an amount of recirculated air may be increased according to an increase in the degree of dryness of the target item by adjusting a degree of opening of a recirculation channel.
