Abstract: An air compressor improves the dustproof performance of an intake path to a crankcase. The air compressor includes a compression assembly that reciprocates a piston in a cylinder to produce compressed air, a crankcase accommodating the compression assembly and having an inner inlet to allow outside air to be drawn, a filter located in the crankcase and covering the inner inlet from outside, a filter cover having an outer inlet and covering the filter from outside, and a dust cover covering the filter cover from outside, covering the outer inlet, and including an outer circumferential portion. The outer circumference portion and the filter cover have a space to draw outside air between the outer circumference portion and the filter cover.

Abstract: An air compressor comprises a compressor that compresses introduced air and a tank that stores the compressed air generated by the compressor. Abstract: A power tool is provided with a prime mover which causes the tool to rotate and a housing which houses the prime mover. In a back-end face that is positioned on an opposite side on the housing from a tool side, a back-end groove, into which a user can position his/her web between his/her thumb and forefinger, is formed. A pair of side-face grooves, into which the user can place the thumb and forefinger, are formed in both side faces of the housing. A depth changing portion is formed in at least one of the side-face grooves, such that the depth is reduced toward the back-end face of the housing. According to this structure, even when the housing is gripped directly from the back-end face, the user can easily draw up or raise the power tool.
