Abstract: A valve timing change device includes: a housing rotor (10); a vane rotor; a fastening bolt (40); and an advance angle oil passage communicating with an advance angle chamber and a delay angle oil passage communicating with a delay angle chamber, via oil passages which are open at intervals on an outer-circumferential surface of the fastening bolt. The vane rotor includes: a rotor body (20) formed of a material having a thermal expansion coefficient greater than that of the fastening bolt; and a rotor sleeve (30) that is formed of a material having a thermal expansion coefficient equal to that of the fastening bolt and is integrally incorporated such that the rotor sleeve does not contact a cam shaft and tightly contacts the outer circumferential surface (41a), in a region in which the advance angle oil passage (23a) and the delay angle oil passage (35) are blocked from each other.

Abstract: An oil passage switching valve suitable for a valve timing changing apparatus includes: a valve body, opening or closing an oil passage of operating oil; an urging spring, urging to position the valve body to a position corresponding to the retard position in a pause state; and a switching element, positioning the valve body to a position corresponding to the retard position when a state quantity of the operating oil is in a first range, and switching a position of the valve body in response to the state quantity (pressure or temperature) of the operating oil while resisting an urging force of the urging spring to position the valve body to a position corresponding to the advance position when the state quantity of the operating oil is in a second range greater than the first range.

Abstract: A valve timing change device includes: a housing rotor (10); a vane rotor; a fastening bolt (40) for fastening the vane rotor to a cam shaft; and an advance angle oil passage that constitutes a ring-shaped groove communicating with an advance angle chamber and a delay angle oil passage that constitutes a ring-shaped groove communicating with a delay angle chamber, via oil passages which are open at intervals on an outer circumferential surface of the fastening bolt. The vane rotor includes: a rotor body (20) having a small-diameter inner circumferential portion (23) and a large-diameter inner circumferential portion (24); and a rotor sleeve (30) that is fitted into the large-diameter inner circumferential portion, is in tight contact with the outer circumferential surface (41a) of the fastening bolt, and demarcates the advance angle oil passage (23a) in cooperation with the small-diameter inner circumferential portion.
