摘要: A piston type compressor comprises a cylinder block having a plurality of cylinder bores, a plurality of pistons disposed in the respective cylinder bores for defining compression chambers in the respective cylinder bores, a housing for defining a suction-pressure region and a discharge-pressure region therein, a valve-port assembly provided between the cylinder block and the housing, and a seal member provided between the cylinder block and the housing. The seal member has a first seal portion for preventing the refrigerant from leaking out of the compressor and a second seal portion for preventing the refrigerant from leaking between adjacent refrigerant passages. Each of the first and second seal portions has a bead. The bead of the second seal portion has a height which is smaller than that of the first seal portion.

摘要: A piston compressor in which carbon dioxide is used as a refrigerant is provided. The compressor includes a cylinder block, reciprocating pistons, a valve plate, a housing member, and sealing members. The cylinder block has an end face and a plurality of cylinder bores. The pistons are housed in the individual cylinder bores. The valve plate has a plurality of discharge ports. The housing member is fixed to the end face of the cylinder block with the valve plate in between. The housing member has a partition wall. The housing member and the valve plate define a suction chamber and a discharge chamber. The discharge chamber is connected to the cylinder bores through the corresponding discharge ports. The suction chamber and the discharge chamber are partitioned by the partition wall. The sealing members each are interposed between the valve plate and the cylinder block, and between the valve plate and the housing. A value of a ratio of the thickness of the valve plate relative to a diameter of each cylinder bore is between 0.13 and 0.4, inclusive.

摘要: A power transmission device of a compressor includes a rotary shaft, a pulley, a hub, a power shutoff member, a spacer and a cylinder. The power shutoff member shuts off excessive torque transmission between the pulley and the rotary shaft of the compressor. The spacer is disposed on the rotary shaft. The cylinder is disposed between the power shutoff member and the rotary shaft. The cylinder has an external thread portion formed at the outer periphery thereof for engagement with an internal thread portion of the power shutoff member and an internal thread portion formed at the inner periphery thereof for engagement with an external thread portion of the rotary shaft. The cylinder has a contacting surface for contact with a seating surface of the spacer and a seating surface for contact with a contacting surface of the hub at the axial end portion of the hub.

摘要: A heat insulating structure in a piston type compressor includes a heat insulating member. The piston type compressor includes a cylinder block and a cover housing connected to the cylinder block, a piston is accommodated in a cylinder bore defined in the cylinder block to define a compression chamber. A suction pressure region and a discharge pressure region are defined in the cover housing. The piston is reciprocated in the cylinder bore in accordance with rotation of a rotary shaft so that refrigerant gas is drawn from the suction pressure region to the compression chamber and discharged from the compression chamber to the discharge pressure region. The heat insulating member has a predetermined shape and is located in the cylinder block. The heat insulating member has an inner peripheral surface that defines the cylinder bore.

摘要: A heat-insulating mechanism in a compressor which introduces refrigerant gas from a suction pressure region to a compression chamber and discharges the refrigerant gas from the compression chamber to a discharge pressure region has a circular passage, a communication passage, a cylindrical member and a passage heat-insulating member. The circular passage, which is a portion of the suction pressure region, has a circular cross-section, and is in communication with an external refrigerant circuit. The communication passage, which is a portion of the suction pressure region, intersects the circular passage for connection therewith, and is communicable with the compression chamber. The cylindrical member is fitted into the circular passage. The passage heat-insulating member made of an insulating material covers at least a portion of a passage wall surface which forms the communication passage. Rotation of the cylindrical member is prevented by engaging the passage heat-insulating member with the cylindrical member.

摘要: In a swash plate type compressor, refrigerant in a discharge pressure region is introduced into a crank chamber through a supply passage while the refrigerant in the crank chamber is drawn out to a suction pressure region through a bleed passage for controlling pressure in the crank chamber, whereby inclination angle of a swash plate is changed. A heat-generating sliding portion is provided in the crank chamber. The supply passage includes a communication port that communicates with the crank chamber and a first throttle portion for throttling the refrigerant. At least parts of the supply passage and the bleed passage are formed in a drive shaft. A part of the bleed passage formed in the drive shaft is located between a part of the supply passage formed in the drive shaft and an outer peripheral surface of the drive shaft.

摘要: A variable displacement compressor for forming a refrigerant circuit with an external refrigerant circuit includes a housing, a drive shaft, a swash plate, a shaft seal member, a supply passage, a control valve and a gas passage. The housing has a suction chamber, a crank chamber, a discharge chamber and a shaft seal chamber formed therein. The discharge chamber is in communication with the crank chamber through the supply passage. The supply passage has the shaft seal chamber. The discharge chamber is in communication with the external refrigerant circuit through the gas passage. The supply passage is formed differently from the gas passage. A part of the supply passage is located adjacent to the suction chamber and nearer to the suction chamber than the discharge chamber.
