Abstract: A compressor includes a housing, and an anticorrosive coating covering a surface of the housing. The anticorrosive coating includes a base layer applied on the surface of the housing, and a surface layer applied on the base layer. Both the base layer and the surface layer are organic coatings. Thus, the housing of the compressor is effectively separated from the external environment by means of the two organic coatings, so as to ensure that the compressor is not corroded; moreover, the anticorrosive coating does not contain a metal coating, thereby preventing the problem of the compressor being severely corroded due to an exposed metal coating.

Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may include a casing having a sealed inner space; a drive motor provided in the inner space of the casing to generate a rotational force; a rotational shaft rotatably coupled to the drive motor; an orbiting scroll formed of an aluminum material, and coupled to the rotational shaft to perform an orbiting movement; a fixed scroll coupled to the orbiting scroll to form a compression space; and an Oldham ring coupled to the orbiting scroll, and formed of a sintered metal. With this structure, it may be possible to prevent the Oldham ring from being worn out due to contact with the orbiting scroll. Further, a weight loss portion or wear-resistant coating layer may be formed on a portion of the Oldham ring, thereby suppressing or preventing vibration noise of the scroll compressor from being increased due to a weight increase of the Oldham ring.

Abstract: The reciprocating compressor is made with yoke units which connect opposite pairs of pistons while eliminating play between the yoke units and sliding block. Each yoke unit includes a pair of shoes which are removably secured to the pistons and which are adapted to guide the sliding block moved by a crankshaft. Each yoke unit also includes a clamp ring which surrounds the shoes and which biases the shoes towards the sliding block. The shoes are removably secured to the pistons to permit the yoke unit to be readily disassembled. Bow-shaped clamping members may also be employed within each yoke unit to further bias the clamp ring against the shoes.
