摘要： A needle bar thread guide for a sewing machine includes a thread guide body mounted on a needle bar and having a threading portion for threading the sewing machine, an introducing portion formed on the thread guide body for introducing a needle thread to the threading portion, and a fall-off preventing member disposed at a position near to spaces over and below the thread guide body. The fall-off preventing member allows the needle thread to be introduced via the introducing portion to the threading portion and prevents the needle thread introduced to the threading portion from falling off from the introducing portion.

摘要： An embroidery frame includes an outer subframe with a section that breaks continuity, an inner subframe that is snapped inside of the outer subframe to hold a cloth with the outer subframe, a clamp mechanism for clamping the outer subframe against the inner subframe. The clamp mechanism includes a pair of screw attachment sections facing each other at both ends of the continuity-breaking section of the outer frame, an adjustment screw attached across the screw attachment sections for adjusting a space between the screw attachment sections, an operation shaft for rotating the adjustment screw that moves in a range from a first position at which the operation shaft is directed in an axial direction same as or different from the adjustment screw, and a second position at which the operation shaft is tilted in a direction increasing a space with the outer subframe, and a coupling mechanism for coupling together the operation shaft and the adjustment screw, and transferring a torque of the operation shaft to the adjustment screw.

摘要： A pattern selection apparatus displays patterns and allows any of the displayed patterns to be directly selected. The apparatus comprises a control circuit, a display unit, an item designating dial and a selection establishing key. The control circuit indicates on the display unit where a cursor-highlighted displayed pattern is located relative to all the patterns under the same subset heading. As the cursor is moved in response to rotation of the item designating dial, the pattern location indication is correspondingly changed. Pushing the selection establishing key selects the cursor-highlighted pattern. Thus, any of the patterns displayed on the display unit is selected quickly and easily.

摘要： An attachment structure for detachably attaching a workpiece holder to a movable body used in embroidery stitching in a sewing machine. The movable body is movable in a horizontal plane in synchronism with a reciprocating motion of a sewing needle in order to move the workpiece relative to the needle. 摘要： A clip for clamping a cloth according to the invention is mounted on an embroidery frame including an outer frame, and an inner frame which is internally engaged with the outer frame thereby to hold a cloth to be worked between the outer frame and the inner frame. The clip includes a leaf spring member which can be detachably mounted on the outer frame, and an urging member which is fitted to this leaf spring member and adapted to press the cloth to be worked onto the inner frame. The leaf spring member has a first engaging portion adapted to be engaged with a lower part of the outer frame from outside, a first plate portion extending upwardly from the first engaging portion, a second plate portion formed in an upper part of this first plate portion by way of a bent portion and downwardly inclined along an inner face of the outer frame, and a second engaging portion formed in this second plate portion and adapted to be engaged with an upper part of the outer frame from inside. The urging member is provided on the second plate portion and adapted to press a part of the cloth to be worked extending upwardly from between the outer frame and inner frame onto the inner frame. According to the structure, the cloth to be worked can be reliably clamped to be held in a stabilized state, and a slack of the cloth while embroidering can be prevented. At the same time, the clip can be made compact and lightweight, and can be easily mounted or dismounted.
