    摘要： An operation signal corresponding to an input operation on a rotating body by a user is output to an information-processing unit 400 and the operation signal is processed by a processing condition in accordance with the condition of the input operation. Based on the information property such as sound volume processed based on the operation signal and output by the output unit 200 or a setting position such as a cue point that is set by the input operation on the switch section 340 and at which a reproducing position is changed by a processing unit 440 in accordance with a pressing operation on the rotating body 600, the location of the reproducing position that is moved in accordance with the condition of the input operation on the rotating body 600 is recognized. And the rotating body 600 is operated (conducting click-like movement restriction, vibration and the like) in accordance with output condition corresponding to the condition of the input operation based on the property. A touch such as the movement restriction and vibration can be provided in accordance with the input operation and the property of the information, thereby providing efficient information-processing by the input operation.

In one aspect, a visual representation of a phonograph playing an analog record is transmitted to a viewer/listener along with the actual analog audio generated by same. Such transmission may occur via television networks, the Internet, or other similar networks. In another aspect, such visual representations are played with digitally recorded audio in a time-correlated manner. In yet another aspect, such visual representations are recorded with digital audio in a soft format such as a digital file, MP3 file, or the like for use with portable audio and visual devices, for streaming via the Internet, for use in gaming, and/or for use as software. Such visual representations may also be displayed at live events such that the timing of the video play and the performance of the live or recorded audio is correlated.

    摘要： A method for operating cue points on a lighting ring of a digital multimedia audio player is revealed. A lighting ring for showing data related to digital music playing now is disposed around a turntable of a multimedia audio player. The lighting ring is arranged with a plurality of visual markers at important cue points by DJs for producing special sound effects while one of the cue point markers is set at a position that matches DJs' operation way and this is the position of an active cue point. Thereby during operation of the multimedia audio player, the obvious markers at the cue points allow DJs to operate the device easily and conveniently. Moreover, the active cue point can be set and adjusted according to different operation ways of DJs. Thus the present invention provides DJs with an intuitive reminder and convenient operation on the vision and the operational control.

The method can also include outputting the audio file having the variable tempo in response to a command to play the musical arrangement.

    摘要： The present invention pertains to the field of control and manipulation of a digital audio signal by a user manipulable touch sensitive control surface. The present invention is specifically applicable to user manipulation of digital audio signals by disc jockeys (DJs).A touch sensitive surface substantially circumferential in shape is divided into two regions: an inner or central portion and an outer or circumferential portion. The inner portion responds to linear motion imparted by the user while the outer portion responds to circumferential motion. The linear motion imparted by the user in the central portion is used manipulate a digital audio data stream in order to impart a scratch effect.
