    Abstract: Devices, systems, and techniques for monopolar recording of sensed electrical signals are disclosed. An example device includes sensing circuitry configured to sense electrical signals from a first plurality of electrode combinations, each of the first plurality of electrode combinations comprising a same reference electrode of the plurality of electrodes and at least one different sense electrode of the plurality of electrodes, the plurality of electrodes being associated with one or more leads. The example device includes processing circuitry configured to record the sensed electrical signals from the first plurality of electrode combinations. The processing circuitry is also configured to provide representations of the recorded sensed electrical signals.

    Abstract: A medical device for providing electrical stimulation to a brain of a patient includes one or more processors. The one or more processors are configured to determine a first set of parameters of a first electrical signal that is delivered via a first electrode configured to apply electrical stimulation to a first region of the brain and to determine a second set of parameters of a second electrical signal based on the first set of parameters. The second electrical signal is delivered via a second electrode configured to apply electrical stimulation to a second region of the brain. The one or more processors are further configured to deliver, with the first electrode, the first electrical signal having the first set of parameters and to deliver, with the second electrode, the second electrical signal having the second set of parameters.

    Abstract: Devices, systems, and techniques are disclosed for managing electrical stimulation therapy and/or sensing of physiological signals such as brain signals. For example, a system is configured to receive information representing a plurality of signals sensed from a tissue of a patient via a plurality of electrode combinations, wherein the plurality of electrode combinations comprises different electrode combinations comprising electrodes disposed at different positions of the lead implanted in the patient, determine one or more features from the information representing the plurality of signals, and compare the one or more features to a plurality of templates, each template of the plurality of templates representing respective locations of a signal source within the tissue. The system may then determine, based on the comparison of the one or more features to the plurality of templates, an estimated location of the signal source with respect to the lead.

    Abstract: A system includes processing circuitry configured to determine, for each electrode combination of a plurality of electrode combinations, a metric based on a sensed electrical signal from the electrode combination. The processing circuitry is further configured to determine, for each electrode of a plurality of electrodes, a subset of electrode combinations of the plurality of electrode combinations, each electrode combination of the subset of electrode combinations comprising the electrode, wherein the subset of electrode combinations comprises at least two electrode combinations. The processing circuitry is further configured to determine, for each electrode of the plurality of electrodes, a composite metric based on the metrics of the subset of electrode combinations. The processing circuitry is further configured to determine, select, based on the composite metrics of the plurality of electrodes, at least one electrode for at least one of sensing electrical signals or delivering electrical stimulation.
