    Abstract: A coil component includes a drum core including a winding core portion and first and second flange portions, and first and second wires. A portion of the first wire that first comes into contact with an outer peripheral surface of the winding core portion when the first wire is traced from a first wire end to a second wire end is defined as a 1.0 turn portion of the first wire. A portion of the second wire where an angular position thereof about a central axis first coincides with an angular position of the 1.0 turn portion of the first wire, on a side of a second negative direction with respect to the central axis, when the second wire is traced from a first wire end to a second wire end is defined as a 1.0 turn portion of the second wire.

    Abstract: A winding core includes, for example, four planes, that is, a top surface, a bottom surface, a first side surface, and a second side surface around its central axis.     Abstract: First and second wires form a wire assembly by being wound around a winding core portion together. The wire assembly includes a twisted wire portion, an inner layer portion, an outer layer portion, a plurality of outward transition portions, and an inward transition portion. The outer layer portion includes a first outer layer portion which is connected to one of the outward transition portions extending from an intermediate position of the inner layer portion and connected to the inward transition portion.     Abstract: A winding core part includes a two-layer winding region, consisting of a first layer in which a first wire is wound around the winding core part and a second layer in which a second wire is wound around the first layer, and a non-contact winding region in which the first and second wires are wound without contacting each other. The non-contact winding region located is between the first flange part and the two-layer winding region, and the two-layer winding region includes switching parts that are for switching the axial direction positional relationship between turns of the first and second wires in the two-layer winding region and are parts in which the first and second wires cross each other. In the non-contact winding region, the first wire has a longer wire length than the second wire. The first wire has a longer coil length than the second wire through both regions.
