    Abstract: In a coil component, a first wire has a part that extends in a spiral shape along a peripheral surface of a winding core part with a central axis being the axis of rotation. A second wire has a part that extends in a spiral shape outside the peripheral surface of the winding core in a radial direction centered on the central axis with the central axis being the axis of rotation. The second wire includes an outer part and an inner part. The inner part extends continuously along the peripheral surface of the winding core part in a spiral shape through a range greater than 360 degrees. The outer part extends in a spiral shape outside the inner part in a radial direction centered on the central axis. The inner part is located between the L-th turn and the (L+1)-th turn of the first wire.

    Abstract: A 0.5-displacement region in which a first wire and a second wire are displaced by 0.5 turns from each other, and a 1.5-displacement region in which the first wire and the second wire are displaced by 1.5 turns in an opposite direction to a 0.5-displacement region are distributed along an axis direction on a winding core portion. The sum of the number of turns of the second wire located in the 0.5-displacement region being twice or more and five times or less than the sum of the number of turns of the second wire located in the 1.5-displacement region.

    Abstract: A coil component comprises a first wire including a winding portion wound around a winding core portion of a core, a first end portion electrically connected to a terminal electrode provided in a first flange portion, and a first extended portion connecting the winding portion and the first end portion. In a first direction, the first end portion is positioned on a first side with respect to a central axis of the winding core portion, and a first boundary portion which is a boundary portion between the first extended portion and the winding portion is positioned on a second side with respect to the central axis. A corner of the winding core portion is positioned between the first boundary portion and the first end portion in a circumferential direction. A gap is interposed between the first extended portion and the corner.

    Abstract: A common mode choke coil includes a core having a winding core part and a first and second wire wound around the winding core part. The winding core part has a first winding region, a switching region and second winding regions in this order along the axis of the winding core part. In the first winding region, each turn of the first wire is located closer to a first end portion of the winding core part than the corresponding same-numbered turn of the second wire. In the second winding region, each turn of the first wire is located closer to a second end portion of the winding core part than the corresponding same-numbered turn of the second wire. The number of turns of the first and second wires in the first winding region differs from the number of turns of the first and second wires in the second winding region.
