Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to link based groupcast communication. In the solution, a groupcast stream can be delivered on a specified link in a negotiation manner between a first device (e.g., an access point AP in an infrastructure BSS or a mesh station in a mesh BSS) and a second device (e.g., a non-AP station in the infrastructure BSS or a mesh station in the mesh BSS). As such, the waste of radio resources caused by repeated transmission of invalid data on the multiple links are reduces significantly.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of dynamic reservation of links for supporting low latency in unlicensed spectrum for improved system performance. The method comprises determining a probability associated with one or more available links of the first device; transmitting the probability to a second device; and receiving an indication of the number of links that need to be left free for a communication within a cluster at which the first device is located. In this way, a certain probability of successful listen-before-talk (LBT) can be guaranteed for the time-sensitive/URLLC traffic. A minimum number of links that should be left can be configured as always free for allowing time-sensitive/low latency packets to find a transmission opportunity over these links with a certain probability and be transmitted immediately, therefore the probability of successful LBT can be effectively manipulated, which may addresses private industrial deployments.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to device, method, apparatus and computer readable storage medium of MPDU forwarding in a VBSS based mesh network. The method comprises receiving, at a first device, a first data unit from a second device in a first TXOP allocated by the second device for data transmission between the first device and the second device, the first data unit having a header comprising an identifier of the first device; de-aggregating the first data unit into a plurality of sub-data units; and processing the plurality of sub-data units based on respective address information associated with the plurality of sub-data units. In this way, the converting the MAC header of MPDUs between backhaul and fronthaul and decryption and encryption of the data unit can be avoided, which improves the efficiency of data forwarding. Meanwhile, the interference between backhaul and fronthaul working on the same channel can be eliminated and the TP of whole link can be increased.

Abstract: A block-acknowledgement mechanism employing first and second variable-length bitmaps. The first bitmap carries a plurality of one-bit flags that enable omission, from the second bitmap, of entire segments of acknowledgement-status bits corresponding to the same acknowledgment status, e.g., received or not received. The value of a dedicated control bit in the BA-information field determines the interpretation of binary “0s” and “1s” of the second bitmap in terms of the acknowledgement status. Different embodiments are compatible with fragmented and non-fragmented transmission of the corresponding data units. At least some embodiments are beneficially capable of producing shorter BA frames than comparable prior-art solutions under at least some wireless-channel conditions.
