Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for evaluating the halves of slaughtered animals by optical image processing. A simple computerized method for sufficiently reliable evaluation is obtained even when the symmetry plane has been missed during cutting of the slaughtered animals due to cutting error by detecting two salient points and a straight line (5) in a photogrammetric reliable manner and by additionally calculating a parallel line (6) and a vertical line (7), wherein the end of the connecting bone (2) on the body side is used as first salient point and the central extension of the back fat (4) is used as a first direction.

It is connected to at least one examination system (22) which can be interfaced to it with an analog or digital interface and includes a main personal computer (3) with a dedicated interface board for a printer (4), an additional module (18) for a frame grabber board, an additional foot switch (19), a dedicated interface board in the printer (4) for a printer (20), a special automatic control system (21), a dedicated terminal in the personal computer for high-speed networks (23), a trigger system (24) and an audio recording device (27) and audio replay device (28) connected to the main personal computer (3). A network card (7) for network personal computers (8,9,10) can be connected to the main personal computer (3) so that authorized individuals can access the stored data.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an arrangement for using, in particular, ERP-applications of different clients in the form of, preferably, any particular mobile terminal, enabling data exchange with internal ERP-systems via the extranet and intranet. A user can select between different applications according to predetermined authorizations, which are not stored on the terminal, which can be initially guided according to the individual selection thereof and enables access to the internal ERP-systems. According to the invention, in a connection (6) between the mobile end terminal (1) to the ERP-system (4) via the intranet (10), a mobile ERP-server (3) having a special memory area (9) is located (6) between the connection (6) and the intranet (10). In said special storage area, configured specific access authorizations to the modules (5) of the ERP-systems (4) are stored for each individual user and for each mobile terminal (1), the logic of said modules taking the form of applications and supplementary applications linked to individually adapted menus (7) with scripts of a mask which is reproduced on a display (8) of the mobile terminal (1).
Abstract:
In a method for the non-invasive determination of the grade, trade value, market value and the quality of a slaughtered animal carcass; based on optical image processing; the method fulfills the conditions of the pertinent official regulations and acts and is rapid and cost-effective to implement; results data of weight percentages from single joint yields that have been obtained during the cutting tests of a sufficient number of slaughtered carcasses are correlated with the characteristic measured values and parameters determined from the ham and loin regions of both sides of a slaughtered animal carcass, taking into consideration the total weight, in order to obtain relationship data; during the slaughter operation, a simulation calculation is then carried out using the existing relationship data to estimate the single joint yields, taking into consideration the total weight of the two sides of a slaughtered animal carcass and the characteristic measured values and parameters that have been determined specifically in the ham and loin regions for said carcass.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a positioning apparatus for animal carcass halves, particularly slaughtered pig halves, for the parallel alignment of the cleaving plane with the imaging plane of a camera. According to the invention, the positioning apparatus with respect to the cleavage side (11) preferably comprises a rear guide element (4), which is disposed movably at the level of the upper guide (1) and which in the region of the imaging position of the slaughtered pig half (10) has rollers (8), (8.1; 8.2; 8.3) as pressure elements.
Abstract:
A non-invasive method is described for identifying contours with complex structures having an error recognition rate tending towards zero, which method can be used to distinguish and identify features of a slaughtered animal body with respect to each other, said method being utilized on the basis of a characteristic piece in particular to determine, by means of image processing, data for calculating the muscle-meat percentage, the trade classification and the associated trade value and market value, and also to rate the quality of slaughtered animal bodies, taking into account legal requirements. In accordance with the invention, during error recognition of contours of a slaughtered animal body which have complex structures and which are to be distinguished and identified with respect to each other, an operator at a workstation in the form of a PC interacts with the computer and provides sufficient indications relating to the unidentified or incorrectly identified contour to be sought, in that by employing an image reproduction device at least one support point is in each case set in the illustration of an image of the region of interest of the slaughtered animal body in one or several regions, in which data is to be determined from measurements.
Abstract:
A method is described for determining in a non-invasive manner the trade class, the trade value, the market value and the quality of a body of a slaughtered animal on the basis of optical image processing, which method fulfils the conditions of the relevant official rules and regulations as well as functions accurately, rapidly and also in a cost effective manner. In accordance with the invention the result data, obtained using tests on cut pieces of a sufficient number of carcasses, of weight percentages from yields of individual pieces with the characteristic parameters and measured values determined from two halves of a carcass in the ham and loin region are correlated with each other using the total weight and therefrom relational data are obtained and during the course of the slaughtering operation in order to estimate the yields of individual pieces a simulation calculation is performed with the available relational data taking into consideration the total weight of two associated halves of a carcass and the characteristic parameters and measured values determined for this specifically in the ham and loin region. In one variant, the yields of individual pieces are estimated only on the basis of characteristic parameters and measured values determined specifically in the ham and loin region.
